I gave a review on this restaurant a few weeks ago. On Wednesday, 16 Sep '26, we took some friends…read morehere to eat and I decided to give an updated review. I made sure to ask for a manager upon being seated to avoid the prior manager who refused to compensate or give a discount due to a stale croissant sandwich. The food servers have always been polite. The food was excellent and the manager 'Cloe' was outstanding. She stated she was part-time however; her conduct and attention to our table was outstanding. Cloe said she wanted to make sure I would not have a bad experience as we did on our prior visit. This time my husband and our guests had the 50/50 burger with fries and said they were both excellent. I had the cod sandwich with those excellent fries and my meal was also excellent. My husband and I always drink the unsweet tea and bring our own Stevia to sweeten and our friends had the 50/50 tea and said it was great. This visit was such a pleasant experience and made up for the prior 'want to be' manager who refused to compensate or give me a discount for a bad entre. I mentioned to Cloe that I am a review person and want people to know the importance of asking for a manager and sharing their good and bad experiences and try to make things better for future customers. I would highly recommend this restaurant and the manager 'Cloe' for the facts I have stated here :)).

Everything is wonderful. My husband loves the smothered chicken breast. Oh, bring a sweater, it is always chilly. I think there is 8 or 9 TV's on the walls. We love going there. The service has always been pretty good. Prices are reasonable.

We were in Indiana visiting family and wanted to eat here because one of our favorite YouTubers had…read moredone the challenge. We came in the middle of the afternoon and it was empty. The server seemed dazed and confused. We asked him questions but he didn't seem to know anything. We absolutely love German food so we were excited. However, this wasn't really German food. First, how does a German restaurant not have German beer on tap? Then I ordered the schnitzel. It wasn't pounded out correctly and was too thick to be considered schnitzel. The breading had no seasoning. My husband (vegetarian) ordered the veggie melt, which was on the menu, but he was told they no longer make it. He ended up getting a "sides plate." When it arrived, there were 4 of the smallest portions of sides ever. Why not just make spaetzel a main dish? Voila, you have a vegetarian option! My daughter ended up getting a pretzel because the spaetzel she wanted had too many other ingredients in it for her liking. That's on us not the restaurant. Overall, as German restaurant connoisseurs, we were disappointed.

But ultimately, it's just okay. Service was fast (perhaps too fast) and friendly. But our dishes were just okay. We didn't have a bad experience, but it's not a must dine, to say the least.

Bar 2-tops on one end of the brewery and then larger tables on the second side. Originally I thought this brewery did not have food and they welcomed in food from other nearby restaurants but it seems they have since amended that and have pizzas and snacks available on site. No table service, all ordering is done at the counter. Fast service for drafts and a big variety of options and types of beers to try. They have games if you wanted to play and will offer your dogs water and treats as well. Had a fun afternoon hanging out here!

Went today to enjoy a late lunch. The waitress was very nice and helped us so we could make a…read moredecision on a beer to have. The blood orange beer was very good. Similar to a blue moon. We order two appetizers, fried pickles & bruschetta, as well as 4 entrees, three Wellington burgers and a BLT. The fried pickles were good. The burgers and BLT were decent. But the kitchen was struggling to get the bruschetta out. We had already finished our burgers when we told our waitress just to forget about the bruschetta. We were ready for our checks. Our waitress, who was extremely nice about it since we had already waited 45 minutes for the burgers, said that's fine and if it came out, she'd put it on the table, but take it off our tab. Made sense to me as we had only ordered it with the expectation that it would be an appetizer. Just before the checks arrive, a different waitress brings over the bruschetta. We weren't hungry anymore, but we're going to put it in our to-go box so as not to waste it. The owner, or maybe general manager (she was in a green shirt) then came over and said she'd give us the bruschetta for 50% off. I was confused. It took over an hour for it to come out and we had already asked them to keep it in the kitchen and take it off the tab. I said we'd rather just not pay for it. She very abrasively said to me "So you'd rather me take it back and throw it away?" Clearly taking her frustration out on me from the kitchen. I said I didn't want to pay for it. So she quickly grabbed the bruschetta off the table and said she was just going to throw it away. The whole interaction just left a very bad taste in mine and my friend's mouths after the staff themselves had been nice despite the struggles from the kitchen.
