Just love this winery. Boutique style, wines are wonderful, looking forward to viewing the eclipse from this location in April.

They owners understood that Indiana grapes are not the best for reds so they use California grapes for their drys.

Huber's is the perfect day trip. For $5/person you can ride in the tractor trailer out to the…read morefields to pick some berries, peaches, or whichever produce is in season. We were really impressed by the amount of strawberries today & got some blueberries too! The prices per pound were posted where you purchase your ticket to ride. There is a wonderful market with fresh picked produce, jams, fresh baked goods, fudge, seasonings, etc as well to grab some goodies. Today there was live music, which was great to listen to while eating a burger from the food truck and a flatbread ordered from inside. Other things we'll have to try on our next visit are the homemade ice cream and a wine tasting.

We did a tour here today and it was really intimate - we were the only four on the tour. We arrived a little bit early and had lunch at the cafe on-site, which was pretty good, and then we checked in for our tour. What people may not know is that below the gift shop area is where a lot of the barrels and such are. I think our tour guide's name was Ricky and she was very good, I learned a little bit about the distillery. We had chosen the bottle your own experience, which ended up being really unique. At the end of the tour, we got to taste a few of the bourbons, literally from the barrels, and then we got to fill a bottle from one of the open barrels. After that, we put a sticker/the label one, plus one with our name, and another with the back label. Differentiation was encouraged, although we all put them on standardly except for my husband, who had the four of us plus Ricky sign the bottle, which was fun. I believe the tour was $100 each, and just the bottle itself would've been like $80, so for $20 extra, it was a good deal. At the end of the tour, they let us taste a good portion of their wines and other whiskeys and bourbons; I will say their wines were not that great, unfortunately, though there were two that I liked and purchased. They were very generous with the tastings and I don't think there was a maximum number ... I tasted maybe 1/3 of what was on the sheet, aka open for tastings. Overall I would come back here, although I probably wouldn't need to do the tour a second time (it would be fun to see the rickhouses, though).

This will probably be the best ribs you've ever tasted. They are smoked and then fried. Very, very tasty. They had a special the night we were there for a tomahawk steak. A person in our party of five ordered it. Yes, he actually ate it all. The side order of scallops were very small. I would not recommend ordering them. This place also has outdoor seating with umbrellas. We opted to sit inside this time, but we have sit outside many of times. Great place, great employees, and excellent food. Wait time for food was slow and one of the owners was not very nice to "his" staff. He did this known in front of customers, which I thought was a real negative. Hence the four stars. The owner had wait staff serve "local celebrities" before others. The food, wait staff and cook are definitely five stars!

My favorite part of this restaurant (aside from the friendly owner & employees) is that all the drinks are locally sourced! So, we enjoyed a lovely glass of Holtkamp Avery White and Chateau Gnaw Bone Black Raspberry port. All of the food sounded wonderful but we decided to split a Rueben and it was a fantastic choice. So flavorful and fresh. Definitely 5 stars!
