Stoped at Vasken's Deli for dinner with the family. We shared the trio starter with hummus, tzatziki, feta cheese served with pita bread. Everyone loved it. I had the Vasken's Famous Gyro w/ Potato Salad and it was amazing! The meat was delicious, cooked perfectly and they filled the gyro up. The potato salad was amazing as well. My fiancé had the Chicken Gyro with BBQ chips. She said the same thing about the meat but complained about the amount of pickles, it had 2 pickles inside the Gyro and then one on the side as well. She has an onion allergy and they catered to her needs perfectly. We shared the Baklava. It was AMAZING!! I wish we would have ordered another one. This was my second visit to Vasken's Deli. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Branson. read more

Had lunch there this week. Excellent Italian beef sandwich. Very hearty chicken & rice soup. Would go back.

Food was great! Originally got 2 famous Gyros and a BBQ Chicken pizza because my kids are picky. My picky 8 year old son tried a bite of mine and loved it! I had to buy a third. And my 7 year old daughter, liked the gyro but loved the pizza and ate the whole thing The gyros were good enough for my wife to force me to buy extras for the road. Definitely worth it!! read more

My family really likes this restaurant, the food is good and if you are wanting a lunch, that is not heavy, this is perfect! My only concern is that it is just so dirty inside the restaurant, from the walls to the trashcan and the bathrooms. It is very, very dirty. Because there is so little pride taken in the appearance of the dining area where the customers are it does cause me to wonder what it looks like in the cooking area. Delicious food and a cute atmosphere. We love going here after church. The pastrami sandwich is yummy along with their potato salad. They have the tasty crunchy chips as well. I've also had their Greek salad and their soups. I haven't been disappointed on any of the menu choices. I'm not sure about the other reviews but I think they are a great business and I'm glad they are in Branson. I like getting my own drinks and food. I hate waiting on service so this is a plus. So, so good! If you're in Branson and need to get away from the buffet lines and other junk food, Vasken's is definitely your best bet. We came here after checking the Amish store next door. I was happy to find out they are vegetarian friendly. The food was fresh and delicious. I ordered the trio sampler. By all means, get the falafel! They are huge and some of the best falafels I've ever had. Not a big fan of the taziki, but the rest of the dips made up for it. I literally scraped the bottom of the hummus and baba ganoush clean. Chicken enchilada soup was also warm and hearty. It was a bit on the spicy side, but just perfect for a cold fall day. On the other hand, the dining room could use a little touch up, since chipped paints were everywhere. There was a long line at lunch time and since it was self-serve, I don't think any of the employees had time to clean tables for the next customers. We were courteous enough to wipe our table and make sure there were no crumbs left behind, but I'm not sure everyone would do the same. Plus with covid, it would be nice if the tables are wiped clean regularly, but I don't think you should expect that here. read more

We were in Branson for a soccer tournament and needed lunch in between games. Vasken's had four stars and over 200 reviews so we figured that it would be worth a try. I will say that the service was excellent and that is why they are receiving two stars instead of a one star. The food was disgusting we ordered the following gyros sandwich, chicken shawarma sandwich and the hummus feta appetizers all were flavorless and almost inedible. we went here after a long day at silver dollar city and just wanted something pretty light. the restaurant was very large and spacious, and not super busy for 6:00 PM on a sunday. all staff interacted with were nice. i got the pick two option where you could either get a small salad, cup of soup, or half a sandwich. i got a small greek salad and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. the vinaigrette that came with the salad was tasty and the soup was perfect. my boyfriend got a greek salad with gyro meat which he enjoyed. the staff were even kind enough to tell me what brand of pepperochinis they put on their salads. read more

We ordered 2 gyros and sat down to eat and they had DEADDD Flies in them. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!! We showed them the dead flys and they were only going to refund the one gyro shown! Wow wow wow! My husband had pastrami and potato salad and says it was really tasty. He appreciated that it was very moist and dry. I tasted his potato salad and thought it was delicious. Now for the best part - the Firehouse Gyro!!! FANTASTICO!! It was sooooooo good. The secret is the spicy relish (of which I need a an entire gallon of) which I asked for on the side to better control the heat. And it's good that I did too, because I used only half of what they gave me and I was sweating by the time I got to the end of the Gyro.... And seriously, how I got to the end is beyond me because it's a good sized sandwich! Ultimately, I would totally come back! I highly recommend this place! read more

Right, so they've changed. This used to be a great place, the food was excellent but it's the end of an era. The good had drastically changed and that was very apparent on my last visit. The ingredients were different, the way things were cooked was different and if, like me, you get the shawarma, there's a chance you will be left disappointed. The flavour is just....it's just not there anymore. If it would have been my first time in I would have put it on my "Meh." list. Having gone quite a bit in the past, before what I can only guess is a change in ownership, it's now unfortunately on my "Oh well, we had a good run." list. In my opinion, they are like an elevated version of Tazikis with similar or even lower prices. I got a chicken gyro which was stellar.
