The ambience was great and the waitress & waiter were very helpful since we did not speak Italian. The pizzas were delicious and fresh.

If you're Italian, you should also come. I think everyone there but me was Italian already, though. The place was pretty empty at 20h00 on a weeknight when I got there, but picked up some during that hour. Service is great; they don't over-bother you. The bartender treated me like it was my birthday, despite the fact that I was there alone. Despite just ordering a drink at first, he brought me out a little personal-size appetizer/snack sampler, and a coconut shell full of liquid nitrogen, making my own personal little Vesuvius. Instead of rushing to escape, I took my sweet time. Some of the snacks were pretty good, too- I recommend eating here if you (can) ever get tired of pizza, pasta, and paninis. Mummify me here, please, and preserve my body with rum. I first ordered an Oroi off the cocktail menu. It was delicious, a perfect level of fruity and just the right strength. Presentation was also 10/10. My second drink, a Hargaroa, was also good but beware if you don't like the flavor of licorice. The lime balanced it out well, in my opinion, but the flavors were strong. If I was here longer, I'd come back in a heartbeat and order another. Their cocktail menu is extensive, with anything you could possibly want from a tiki bar. Prices are also reasonable- sometimes even less than you'd pay for similar drinks in the States. They range from 7-10 euros for standard cocktails. At somewhere fun like this, a 7 euro cocktail is a great deal. Plus, there's a wealth of nonalcoholic options. The bar area is smaller but there's great space in the back, painted all around with cute murals. They go hard on the tiki theme in decor, in the best way. The music was a fantastic playlist of 90s music that had nothing to do with Caribbean/tiki/whatever but I loved it.

The restaurant is in a back alley and made for a private experience. We had three servers taking care of us and making sure we were enjoying our dining experience. The focaccia was better than any I have had. It had fresh veggies and the olive oil blended the flavors perfectly. I had the lasagna, not as good as mine at home but delicious. My daughter had the special, a lemon shrimp pasta. She said it was heavy on the lemon but fresh and delightful. I would recommend the restaurant if you have time to slow down and enjoy your food. We didn't have dessert because the serving size was just right.

To make it worse the manager tries to argue that you ate both and need to pay. Challenging since all the staff saw the waiter take it back. The waiter then corrected the bill, but the damage was done. Being insulted and called a liar is poor hospitality. Simply avoid, the positive reviews must be fake. A table of 4 next to us got up after no one went to them, after waiting for 15-20 minutes. They went across the street- wish I did the same. Incredibly awful experience. From food, to rude and ignorant staff, to bugs all over. A must miss place.

The combination of the Bay of Sorrento and Mt. Vesuvius made for stunning views. The ambiance could not have been more perfect. The service was good but relatively standard. The waiter took our drink and food orders, brought bread to the table, and served our meals. My pasta dish was flavorful and a decent portion. Honestly, I ordered so much pasta and pizza in Rome and other places throughout Italy that the experiences started to blend. However, the red sauce was perfectly seasoned, and the pasta was the perfect al dente. If I had to choose one thing that I most enjoyed about the restaurant, it would be the location first with the food as a close second.

Vesuvius and parts of the coast jutting out in the background. Especially beautiful at night when the distant lights are shining. Also, there's live music nightly! For our meal, we were served burrata, bruschetta, and some kind of fried croquette (couldn't make out what it was); everyone else got grilled eggplant, too, but my plate was missing it. Then we moved on to the ravioli and risotto, both delicious, but very rich. For the entree, we had a pork filet with a mushroom gravy that was exceptionally tender, potatoes, and baby carrots. It was very tasty but a lot of food! Then dessert came; it was the limoncello sponge cake dessert that seems to be very popular in Sorrento. The meal was followed with a shot of limoncello, but I didn't partake; everyone else said it was really strong! I would say dinner was good. Would definitely have liked to try their fresh seafood instead, though.

Mostly outdoor seating (of course) so I grabbed a table that minimized the wind and sun exposure (no umbrellas- at least today). Just here for drinks so ordered a Limoncello Spritzer. Refreshing, light and slightly sweet-paired perfectly with the sunny and windy conditions. They had complimentary snacks-potato chips, nuts, and this amazing pizza flavored crunchy snack-if only we had this one back home. Service was quick and friendly. Saw they had breakfast items and some pasta dishes. The Sorrento spot for a cocktail with a view!

Too early for dinner, I wanted a cold beverage and my favorite pastry, a sfogiatelle. They have pastries and gelato to go but if you eat it there at a table, they charge more. There are other items in the menu ranging from pizza to panini to some anti pasta. id Stick with the drinks, espress, gelato and pastry. The sfogiatelle was $2 and had the crispy outer shell and creamy orange flavored ricotta baked inside. I was happy with my treat, especially enjoying it with the view and people watching since this is a crowded area.
