I took time off work to be seen for 5 minutes, and the only excuse they gave me was that it's complicated with insurance and the receptionist forgot tell me. While I understand they could get busy with preparing to switch offices, they could have at least - Not confirmed my appointment (that was booked many weeks prior) - Cancelled my appointment - Given me a courtesy If they had done that, it would have been okay. But they didn't. This is no way to treat another person. It sounded like they were trying to cut corners and trying to not deal with more paperwork given their busy schedule, which I would've understood, but instead of letting me know before I went to their office, they never let me know and they sent me away after 5 minutes. The doctor also asked if my previous dentist is male or female. Why does that even matter? Very unprofessional. I do not recommend.

I made the mistake of trying a local dentist in my new town, and unfortunately, it led to a damaged tooth. Thankfully, Dr. Ma was able to help me recover from that experience. Dr. Ma is not only highly knowledgeable and professional, but also incredibly gentle with every procedure. I've never needed pain medication--even after major treatments like root canals, crowns, or implants. His work is precise and skillful. The crown broke in 2017 and Delta Dental required that the dr. pay for it since it had been less than 3 years. Dr. Ma was not happy about this and begrudgingly did the work. A 1 hour procedure was stretched to 3 since he kept coming in and out. I have no idea why he was juggling so many patients at one time. In addition to this, when the temporary cap came off as soon as I left, his wife accused me of pulling it off... In 2020, the cap came off again. I knew that I needed to find a new dentist after all of this. My new dentist told me that the crowns had been poorly shapped and could lead to problems down the line. I recently needed 2 ROOT CANALS in BOTH teeth, the ONLY two teeth I have caps on! I contacted his office and received no response. Delta dental has told me to file a grievance.

The office is still clean, the assistants and receptionists are still charming and nice, and the doctor is still warm and educational. Dr Christine was the first dentist that has made me feel comfortable since moving to the area. I had been seeing the same dentist for nearly 20 years and had been dreading going through the pains of finding a new dentist.
