First of all, if you read no further; have confidence that you will be well taken care of at this Vargo location in Burbank. It is very well run and I have found all of the therapists and the assistants to be very knowledgeable and helpful. Marc runs a tight ship! I've now been a recurring visitor for 18 months for various anilments and have been very happy with the overall care and professionalism that is provided on a daily basis. Marc is a great dude and does care about his patients and their ultimate recovery...his staff is equally reflective of that mentality. I've occasionally been excercise-corrected by one of the many assistants; Andrea, Tatiana, Ryan, Michael or one of the others I'm forgetting that are constantly available and willing to help through the process. Any correction always comes respecfully and is served with dignity. Incidentally, In locating this page to leave a review, I noticed a couple that had left earlier reviews...rants from obviously bitter, miserable people who make themselves feel better by trying to publicly bash others who have no recourse. Having spent, literally, dozens of hours at this establishment I'm comfortable and satisfied with the level of comfort and care provided. read more

I have visited VARGO Physical Therapy in Burbank since May, and in just a few months, have made more progress than I did during the previous year of trying to alleviate my condition. Marc is knowledgeable, encouraging and genuinely invested in my recovery. The physical therapists, aides and trainees are equally wonderful. They are kind, attentive and always make sure I am performing each exercise correctly. Even though the clinic sees many patients, the team provides thoughtful, personalized attention and makes you feel truly cared for. The facility is also consistently clean, organized and well maintained, which adds to the positive experience. VARGO is understandably busy, so I recommend scheduling appointments as far in advance as possible, especially if you need a particular day or time. I am incredibly grateful to Marc and the entire team for the progress made and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for compassionate, knowledgeable and effective physical therapy. 10/10 would recommend! read more

Very crowded, no privacy, staff not trained well, also in your visit you deal with different staff every few minutes, you are not assigned with one person. read more

I've been working long hours on the computer for many years, and it caused severe pain in my back, shoulders, and neck. My doctor referred me to Vargo Physical Therapy in Burbank, and I'm so glad they did. From the moment I started treatment, my pain began to improve little by little. Mark, the owner of this branch, is truly one of the best physical therapists I've ever met. From the first day, he made me feel confident that everything would be okay, and he was right. We are still working on my recovery, and while I still have some days when the pain comes back to "visit," I now also have many days with no pain at all. The team has also taught me how to improve my posture and change the way I work at the computer. I never realized that sitting and working long hours could cause so many physical problems, but thanks to them, I've learned how important proper movement and ergonomics are. I also want to thank the entire team. The front desk staff; Jackie, Chelsea, and Laura always kind, professional, and welcoming. They make every visit a pleasant experience. The therapists and therapy assistants are equally amazing. Josue, Melody, Amber, Tatiana, Kevin, Ryan, Andrea, the PT; Matt, and Andy always make sure I'm doing every exercise correctly. They are friendly, encouraging, and always greet everyone with a smile. What impressed me most is how they remember every patient and make you feel like you're their only patient, even though they're helping many people throughout the day. Another thing that really stands out is how clean and organized the clinic is. Everything is spotless. The bedding is changed after every patient, the treatment tables are thoroughly sanitized after each use, and the towels are freshly washed for every patient. It's clear that they take cleanliness, hygiene, and patient safety very seriously, and it gives you great peace of mind every time you visit. In one word, this place is absolutely perfect. Thank you to everyone at Vargo Physical Therapy Burbank for your dedication, professionalism, and genuine care. Your hard work has made a real difference in my recovery, and I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who needs physical therapy. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Gili L. read more

All the good reviews are FAKE AI written. I am looking for a PT since I now have MediCal which NO PT accepts so I have been in pain for many years because I cant get seen. When I was in the middle of a work comp injury back in 2019 and saw Vargo later with a foot injury ONCE and never ever went back! The place is an extremely busy, stressful, and a miserable place with a rude front desk, nobody smiled and it's just chaos and hectic. I saw Marc and he did his assessment and disappeared. No communication. Then some random PTA came by after waiting thru the assembly line and she barely did anything to my foot and also disappeared and I waited and waited and I guess I was "done" and all that was a waste of time for maybe 5 total minutes of "work." I never went back. I see Vargo is on my PT list in the valley and I was curious of the reviews now and was shocked so many fake AI reviews because they used to have horrific 1-star reviews and experiences like mine. This will probably be removed too. read more

I came to Vargo Physical Therapy Center to get some help for my torn rotator cuff. The care that I received was first class! The entire staff was very professional and helpful. One therapist in particular, Chelsea Talley was very supportive and knowledgeable. She would come and check on me to make sure that I was doing the exercises correctly and if something wasn't right she would help correct whatever I was doing wrong in a very professional and friendly way. Chelsea made coming to PT a very enjoyable experience!! The entire staff is friendly and supportive. Thanks to all of you. I look forward to my next visit. read more

I was sent to Vargo P.T for therapy and found the staff to be extremely helpful. They are timely, and they work together as a team to make sure you are engaged with the exercises they assigned to you at all times. The office staff are also very helpful. I've been going to Vargo for six months, for multiple injuries. The ladies at the front, Jackie and Lauren, are always friendly and proactive to ensure that you get appointments set in a quick time period. PT aide Chelsea, and her coworkers are attentive, and aware of your needs, which is derived from the ongoing communication given by the physical therapist. My primary physical therapist has been Andy, but I have been seen by other PTs. Andy is wonderful at being able to assess the issue at hand, and works with you for a plan to have between visits to build up strength, or stretches to limit pain. I have no complaints and have recommended this location to my doctor as he is new to Los Angeles. read more

I started weekly pt 3 weeks ago. The first person I spoke with was Jackie, who assisted me to get my insurance authorization in order and to schedule an appointment. She was personable and efficient. When I went to my initial session, Jason did a thorough evaluation and developed a treatment plan specific to my needs. He has been responsive to feedback and my plan has evolved to better address specific issues. He is knowledgeable, patient and willing to listen. During the actual sessions, Alec has been invaluable. He has given clear instructions on form. He has shown me how to target the areas of concern and how to avoid straining the exist injury. He has been particularly patient, consistently answering my many questions with grace and attention. Every staff person has been professional, helpful and supportive. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to friends and family. read more

I started going to Vargo since Oct 1st 2025, for Hip & back pains. I'm very pleased with the entire staff professionalism & warm welcome starting from the Front Desk (Jackie & Laura) then with each of the assistant therapists' kind & attentive help and their friendly approach (Chelsea, Wendy, Andrea, Tate, Desmond, John & Monte ). As for the actual physical treatment received from each of the physical therapists (Shahnur, Andy, Corinna), their knowledge, experience & care have been 100% top-notch and very effective Thank YOU to each of you, and thank you, Vargo Burbank, for having gathered a "1st class" staff. Been going there for a pinch in her in my neck I've only been three times and it's already helping. Lots of wonderful exercises that I could do at home as well. They'll take a while to get my pain to be 100% gone, but this place has helped me get on the mend! read more

Spent quite some time there for a torn meniscus. PT helped tremendously! My PT was Shahnur, aids were Chelsea (mainly), Wendy and Angie. Although this is a busy place- everyone is lovely attentive and kind. Front desk: Laura and Jackie, polite and caring also. Why would anyone say they got treated badly ? Maybe it was their own bad attitude they carried in and then spread it like germs? Was treated 'royally' and laughed quite a bit with everyone also! Thank you! read more

I've worked with the wonderful people at Vargo PT several times, and my experience has been excellent. The staff are very caring, highly skilled, and extremely helpful. In particular, the PT aides do a great job, including Chelsea, Andrea, Alec, Angie, Jessica and the whole team. Therapist Adam has been a huge help in guiding my recovery. The front desk staff, Laura and Jackie, make an extra effort to answer questions and handle scheduling with aplomb. Highly recommended! read more

I've been going to VARGO PT for the past 8 months to work on various body parts (yes, I'm falling apart!) Going to PT on a regular basis can be a pain (no pun intended), but the wonderful staff makes it a pleasant and helpful experience. The front desk is well handled and making appointments is easy. They have definitely helped me and I highly recommend Vargo. A special shoutout to PT Aide Chelsea who has helped me immensely and is always pleasant and actually makes it fun. PT Matt has been a huge help, too. You can't do any better than Vargo for your physical therapy needs. read more

My first day was October 20 2025 From the very first day the staff at vargo have been the best I have ever been treated by. A lot of people generally don't like physical therapy, but me I absolutely love coming here. If I could come here after my treatment I would haha. Always multiple staff checking in on your giving you feed back. I feel like I matter here. Everyone is very educated and answer any questions I have. My doctors told me that I'd be 6 months to a year for recovery and vargo Burbank has gotten me walking within 3 months. They really do make miracles happen here. I love it here. I rehabbed a torn ankle ligament at Vargo in Burbank and was so happy it had been recommended to me! The PTs and aides all had such an upbeat, compassionate attitude -- paired with the knowledge to tailor a recovery regimen to my injury and progress. I loved that the fellow patients were such a wide range of people -- athletes, teens, older people, folks hurt at work , etc -- and the camaraderie / commiseration with them made the time pass quickly. After being pretty devastated I couldn't play basketball for 9 whole months, Vargo helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel. (Special shoutout to Marc, Tigran, Alec, and Jordyn but everyone was great!) I really looked forward to my twice-a-week sessions. And now I'm playing basketball again! Six stars. read more

I have been coming to Vargo in Burbank on and off for over 6 years and couldn't recommend them higher! I have even been forced to go to lesser places and it only made their excellence stand out further! Everyone is amazing, especially Marc, who is the best P.T. man with magic hands, I swear! He's always professional and has a smile. Patti at the front desk (and I think Jackie?) are always on top of it and handle everything with care and speed. They juggle so much and I don't know how they do it! The aids are all great as well. I now Alec and Chelsea have helped my husband and I for years, but everyone is awesome!! We even drive 27 miles in order to go there, but it's worth the LA traffic! read more

For various reasons, I spent about 2 1/2 years needing physical therapy. I am so grateful that I was able to go to Vargo in Burbank. The vibe is caring, kind and patient. They personalize the experience. Many of the staff remember you by name, which creates a welcoming environment. You see a licensed P. T. every visit, in addition to wonderful assistants workimg with you on the exercises. The P. T.'s are very knowledgeable as to the type of care needed and we worked together to address my treatment needs abd eventual release. They did not release me until I felt I was ready. In addition, the office staff is very friendly, patient and clear in explaining insurance, payment and the process. Thank you, Vargo! read more

I feel sort of bad leaving a negative review, because I suspect the people here are overworked and overbooked because of the health insurance industry. Still, this place is Not Great. Only go here if you can't afford good PT. As others have said in reviews, this is assembly line PT. You'll spend most of your time with the aides (who are all very nice -- they're the best thing about this place). There's no personal attention, and no consistency of care. I went for chronic lower back pain, and talked to a PT at the first session about my work and (very consistent) exercise routine. This didn't seem to matter in later sessions, as whoever they sent over for 5-10 minutes each session didn't seem to know anything about me. My care plan didn't seem to be tailored to me at all. I never felt like I could ask questions or get in-depth advice because they're just rushing from patient to patient. Reception wasn't very friendly, and they lost my referral the first time it was sent. I actually had to insist they go look the second time, because they claimed they still didn't have it (they did). If you must go here, try to get the referral sent directly to you so you can take it in -- their fax machine is a black hole. read more

One review is simply not enough to express my love and gratitude for Vargo Physical Therapy in Burbank! I came to them at the end of 2020 after experiencing a devastating leg injury. At the time, I was scared, lost and had no idea how I was even going to begin the road to recovery. From day one, every person at Vargo made me feel welcome, were extremely encouraging and gave me confidence to take the necessary steps (literally) to get me back to a life of normalcy and routine. I was a patient at Vargo for over three years and it is absolutely incredible the progress I have made. I am doing physical activities that at one point I thought I may never do again and I cannot thank every single person who worked with me during that time enough. From the front desk, to the assistants, to the physical therapists, every single person in the organization is absolutely phenomenal and I not only consider them a pivotal part of my recovery but also as family. The expertise, community support and level of care I experienced at Vargo was stellar and I cannot imagine my recovery without them. Thank you Vargo Physical Therapy in Burbank from the bottom of my heart, I will forever be grateful to every single one of you! read more
