Solid vape shop. The staff are knowledgeable and the selection is impressive. Plenty of juices to try out and they have testers ready. I also like the menu of juices complete with descriptions for each juice--too many shops forget to do this. They would've earned all 5 stars but something left a sour taste in my petty, trifling mouth... I made the mistake of purchasing the yelp deal. The staff don't know know about it and don't know what to do with it. I can't blame them though, the owner and manager screwed this one up and put a customer and their employees in an awkward situation. I paid for the yelp deal, they marked it redeemed, and I ended up paying a bit more to get the juice anyway. I still came out with a tiny discount but it was a disappointment that they didn't fully honor their own offer. Full marks to the staff though. They were awesome. Again, I'm petty and trifling so I removed a star for every two dollars they overcharged me. Customer service was incredibly poor. Asked the guy running the counter about there dessert flavors, all he says is that they have a lot. He just stares at me expecting me to know there selection of juices. He could have pointed me to a juice menu or point some juices that he or other customers have said are good. I had to get him to tell me what he would recommend. I'm not new to the vaping game, but this was my first time coming to the vape shop. I have been to quite a few here in Orange County, and I know good customer service. Especially when it comes to vape shops. The only reason it's getting a two star review, rather than just one, is because the juice I got is really good. They should also update their juice selection on the website. I came in looking for a certain juice that the website said they carried, but when I got there the guy said they did not carry it. After I showed the name of the juice was on the carry list of there website he goes and double checks to see if they do. Then comes back and says the website is outdated. When I first walked into Vape First several months ago, I thought the place had potential to being my favorite vape shop. Although now they have drastically expanded their selection of eliquid and their shelves look pretty, they all suck...so what's the point? This is why they lost my business...the sales staff lacks the knowledge to properly guide you in picking a mod or tank. This is extremely important because if you don't like the setup for whatever reason, they will quickly remind you that all sales are final and you're SOL. Sure, you can try to escalate, but only the owner is allowed to make decisions and he's never there, even when they tell you he's going to be there, unless he hides in the back, which wouldn't surprise me. Do yourself a favor and find a different vape shop...one that stands behind the products they sell. I'm sure at the end of the day, losing one customer might not be a big deal to them, but I doubt I'm the only one with a similar experience. #LLAP read more

I spent $130 on a startup kit plus 2 batteries on a vape that goes online for $60 only because I needed it in a short time. Batteries were 2 for 30. Later on in the day I went back and spent another $50 at the same shop on juices alone. Thinking back I spent way too much in this store. I understand the markup price of buying it in store and this is completely my fault for putting up with it, but you'd think after spending $180 in their shop they'd cut a better deal than 2 free bottles of (very average) juice of THEIR choice. Buying my juices for the first time I wasn't even offered to sample what I might like. George was very helpful, he gave me a lot of info. Being this my first setup, he told me every thing I need to know and then some, which I really appreciate. And he showed me and walked me through each part of the vape. That's why I'm giving them an average review. If you're looking to get a starter vape and a few juices to quit smoking, I'd recommend looking around because I think if I took my money elsewhere it would have gone a much, much longer way. Overall I'd say 2.5 stars is more than generous considering their lack of generosity towards me. I wish I had done more research and visited more places because I feel like they took advantage me as a first time vaper and my wallet. I'm not saying I would have saved elsewhere a hundred dollars, but for sure at least %10 more. I've been going to Vape First off and on for years, starting with their original location where I bought my first mod! I don't want to give any ideas to scammers, so I won't go into detail on the issue I had today. Suffice it to say, I didn't check the packaging before I left and didn't get what I paid for. About an hour later, when I realized the issue, I returned to the store, expecting to get hassled and maybe not getting my issue resolved to my satisfaction. Hadn't been back to Vape First in a while and thought I would swing by, I realized very quickly that they had moved and wasn't far. I zipped over to the new location and WOW was I blown away! They increased the size of the store and started offering even more e-juice. The selection of MODS were very good, I could get anything in any price range, from the fancy hand-built MODS to the e-Go twist that is so reliable and even some cheap clones of the expensive stuff. Back to the juice tho, they started carrying all the brands that I was seeing at the other Vape shops and more! I sat down and they took me through all the varieties and categories of flavors they had and by the time I was done I wanted all of them. I ended up grabbing their deal which is Buy 3 get the 4th FREE and walked out a happy man. I had great customer service by the young gentleman in the front and I believe even the owner came out to make sure I was happy and getting what I wanted.
