Don't buy into these bs reviews! I went to this shop because of the bogus 5 star reviews only to be duped!! I'm new to cigar smoking, and I was so excited to go and see Tony because his reviews made him sound like a guy that honors the integrity of the "sport". Now, he IS charming and welcoming, but like a wolf in sheep's clothing ready to pounce on his unassuming prey. You see, I went in, introduced myself, and explained to Tony that I was new to smoking and that I was looking for a recommendation and some help. He took me into the humidor and then did his whole "Tony Montana" ruse. He pulled out a ávido cigar, opened the wrapper, and it came apart at the head. He looked at me and said that's not good, and proceeded to grab another. We walked out and conversed a bit, he told me he liked me cause I was "real" like him. Thing is, I was naive to trust that he had my best interest at heart. He had no genuine interest or care to assist a developing cigar enthusiast. He said, I'm just gonna charge you for one but you can have the one that unraveled at the head too. I asked to buy a torch, in which, he thought I did not notice that he gave me a used one. He filled it up acting like he did me a favor and proceeded to charge me $50 dollars for a $12 cigar and torch! He also told me it was a Dominican cigar (which it is not), insisted I pay him through Zelle so he didn't have to pay tax, and that I leave a Yelp review about how great he is. Now you might ask, if I knew better, why did I buy the obviously used lighter, pay $50 for a $15 dollar torch and a $12 dollar cigar...?? Well, this is why...I went in there sincerely believing the yelp reviews, and hoping to find some help in starting my journey in hopefully one day becoming a cigar enthusiast. I gave Tony the benefit of the doubt, and acted gracefully, while he gave me a Judas kiss before selling me out for a couple bucks ($20+) of profit. But you see, we all reap what we sow and as we know momentary gain can bring a lifetime of loss... So Tony, I ask you this, you made a few dollars off me....but at what cost? I would have rather you made a customer out of me than what you may have perceived to be a "fool"... Beginners, women, and genuine people stay clear of this establishment!! I mean if you know what you want and can spot real from fake, then by all means, patronize this joint. But who wants to smoke this type of energy? Tony, bruh, I wish you well. Bygones. read more

I'm still kind of a rookie when it comes to cigars and he was so patient with my lack of knowledge on cigars. This place is great. A small shop with an incredibly well curated selection. You are quite likely to find any good stick worth smoking here. Its the kind of place that people go to hang out and chat, with a few leather chairs and side tables for ashtrays. The place has a poker night every week as well. Saw the reviews...glad I stopped in. Miranda was great!! I got the "Short Stories" I was after and a Montecristo to try...I reckon it was plugged near the tip.
