I'm gonna hold on a strong four stars for Macy's after shopping them several times for Christmas…read more The service at the perfume counter was excellent and I made a purchase. The extensive stock of varieties of fragrances was quite remarkable. I was taken back by the prices, but they offer quality products like Chanel and Dior. I also got a watch adjusted from their watch department and was very satisfied. Unfortunately they were short of staff, so the wait exceeded 30 minutes. The adjustment was complimentary. Finally, my daughter tried on shoes and received excellent service. However, she did not find what she was looking for. I will continue to shop Macy's.

Great customer service…read more.. My daughter and I visited this location during the week and other than us only two other customers were inside. Two employees were working... But soon as we stepped inside we were immediately greeted by the employee, Jimmy! He advised the deals and asked if we needed assistance looking for anything... we thanked him and began to browse... My daughter found some shoes she liked... tried them on and realized she liked one better than the other but we needed it in a larger size. Jimmy offered to see if the shoe was available in her size... and it was! We visited on a Sunday afternoon, and Jimmy advised he could order the shoe and that it would be available for pick up the next day about 2pm. Great customer service I'd say! I returned the next day about 6 pm and the shoe was ready for pick up. I had just missed Jimmy, but Lakiesha was there to check me out. She was super friendly as well and we engaged in small talk. Both visits were great! No waiting in line... no hassle... and my daughter was satisfied. The store is located in the busy Victory Crossing Shopping Center in Portsmouth. Stores in the center include: GameStop, FarmFresh, Payless, Rainbow, ABC to name a few and the Dollar Store is within walking distance. There is also a Wendy's, WaWa and Krispy Kreme nearby. I'd recommend you give this location a try. It seems if the shoe is not available it can be ordered and delivered within 24 hours. Have fun and enjoy life :)

I got one pair of shoes here back in 2009. Since then, I…read morehave tried this place so many times and always leave with nothing. For such a big store with so many shoes, the options aren't great for me. It could be just me, but I fail to believe that everyone else has hour-glass shaped feet! (especially men) Get some larger, wider shoes that don't look like a picasso painting with ridiculously narrow soles, and then maybe we'll talk. Also, just as a general gripe: lower the prices. I mean really, we're walking on the things! All they are for is for squishing between the filthy ground and our filthy feet. No shoe and I mean absolutely NO SHOE is worth more than $20 at the most! (Just my opinion.) Enough charging hundreds of dollars for a piece of rubber we're just gonna scrape against the earth with our full weight every day. Reminds me of bridge tolls.. complete BS!

The women's bathroom was also very dirty! Not only were the toilets and stall doors splattered but there was no toilet paper inside any of the dispensers in the 3 stalls (only mostly used up rolls on top of one dispenser and a sanitary napkin box). I was really grossed out and inconvenienced using the bathroom there.

They usually play music videos on the big tv screen above the counter, which matches up with what's playing in the store. That's pretty cool. I have found many neat things here over the years, but most of the store is ladies' stuff. The quality of products vary, some of it is okay while the rest is cheap material sold at expensive prices. Sometimes, there will be a cool item and other times, not a thing! There's almost always a good deal going on any given day. I will say, that about 99% of the time, the staff are always very friendly and helpful. One of the few places where no matter who you are, you're most likely going to be treated with respect. (at least in my experience and observation) Overall, it's worth a look whenever I stop by the mall.

They only have one entrance open at the moment so you'll have to enter through the main side. The shoe section had lots of different shoes to choose from. I tried on so many pairs of shoes my head was spinning. They had Sketcher's, Nike, Under Armour, Puma, Reebok, Van's, and other brands. I don't go shoe shopping often, so prices have definitely increased since the last time. After picking a pair I noticed they had shoes on clearance on the other side. Lol. Omg!! I was not going through that whole process again!! They had jewelry, kitchenwares, clothing, candy, bras, and etc. There were several different sales going on in different departments. There was also a Sephora on the inside, which had a good variety of cosmetics. If you have the Kohl's card you can earn Kohl's cash and get discounts.. Check them out!!
