They offer a free first service, and I got 2 services so this was a nice touch. All of the staff I encountered were pleasant and professional and I was out in about 10 minutes! While I was there the member performing my services (eyebrows and lip) showed me how they looked and I was very pleased. She cleaned up my eyebrows very nicely but didn't shape them very much, which didn't bother me as I was just looking for them to be straightened out. --Side note: the wax they use was very gentle, no paper glued to your face, just pulling off hot wax which was a very nice change.-- My only complaint comes now that I took a better look at home. My eyebrows are definitely cleaned up but they are some stragglers that I'll have to pluck, and although the wax was gentle it didn't seem to really pull all the hairs completely, I can tell I'll need a wax again very soon unfortunately. Overall I would recommend this place if you're in a time pinch like I was. The experience was pretty good and the service was speedy and professional. **I would've liked to give 3.5 stars but Yelp doesn't allow it, but they definitely deserve more of a 4 than a 3**

I understand that training services aren't just that, but there's also a certain expectation of quality. I had a Brazilian that left a lot of hair behind and the waxer pinched me a number of times trying to get the wax strips off. As I was under a time constraint and had planned for a 15 minute service, I had to stop her after 30 minutes and leave without a complete wax. I have dead straight eyelashes that grow out straight down, making them difficult to work with, which I blamed on my Asian background. Usually, extensions would weigh down on my natural lash, sometimes obstruct my vision, and would fall off quicker. It was hard for me to get a good curl. I saw Get Minked on Yelp and took a chance because I really liked the photos that were posted. Plus, I noticed a wide diversity in her customers. It was super easy to make an appointment online. During my first visit, I explained to Angela my past frustrations with extensions. She said, "they don't know what they're doing. It has nothing to do with you being Asian." Her confidence in her work reassured me, but of course, what really sold me was the end result. Yes, she really does know what she's doing. I got exactly the fullness and curl that I wanted. The lashes are of great quality and are not shiny or fake-looking. They feel soft, fluffy, and light. She takes her time and she uses a great technique. I've come back since and have gotten different styles, lengths, and even tried bottom lashes; each time, they looked amazing. My go-to is the mink mega volume lash. I'm really surprised that this salon doesn't have more raving reviews on Yelp. It must be because her many loyal customers want her all to herself and want to keep her a secret.

I recently moved to the area and went to Nail 7 to get gel powder (ANC). When I arrived, I had get…read morepowder on my nails from 2 weeks prior, when I had my nails done at my former salon in a different city. The nail tech here started using the electric nail filer (nail drill) on my nails to get the polish off, but I explained that my nails are super sensitive to the heat that comes off those machines, so I prefer to have my nails wrapped in tin foil and nail polish remover to get the polish off. She said that the electric filer, was the only way to get the polish off, that there was no other way to do it, to which I explained, "I undersand it's your preference to use the nail drill because it's faster, but it's not the only way. I've had my nails done with gel powder for nearly 5 years and you can wrap my nails in polish remover." She argued with me again and said there was no other way to do it. I decided to let her use the drill since I was already there and needed my nails done for an upcoming event and within minutes, was pulling my hand away in reaction to the heat--I explained again that I wished my nails weren't so sensitive to the heat, but that they are. She then spoke with her coworkers in a different language, and she insisted again that there was no other way, and I repeated myself that there was another option and didn't understand why they wouldn't just wrap my nails in polish remover. Stubborn and argumentative, I ended up leaving with a half done set of nails. Seems this salon doesn't understand the concept of supporting the customer's needs. I won't be back.

They are good for birthdays, mother's day, valentine's day, anniversaries, getting ready for a bug event like a wedding or just in need of some self care. They are great for both men and women alike. I find it nice treat myself to a pedicure twice a year. They massage my calves, feet, exfoliate my skin, scrub off calloused skin, and make my look and feet feel great. This was my fifth visit to Vivi Nails and I should have reviewed them sooner!

At one point, she used the brush with polish remover to clean old polish stains off the table, then used the same brush on my nail immediately after. The nail tech was very nice, but she seemed to not understand what shape I was asking for or my responses to any of her questions. Although the staff was friendly and the price was reasonable, I would not return. The final outcome left much to be desired with uneven and streaky application and the incorrect shape. I'm disappointed that I'll likely need to go home and have this set re-done.

I was forgot about in the hair washing station while she was working on someone else. When the stylist came back she giggled to say "oops well at least your hair is extra hydrated." This is in fact the 2nd time I came back. To have what I had gotten done from them the day before corrected. As my reference picture I used the picture they had on there yelp. My hair was already very light when I can in and I came out darker and with staining all over my head. Multiple people have pointed out how dark my hair is now. As well, I was told the staining is normal. However, I changed my salon because the one I went to before was very far. I've never once ever had staining all over my forehead. I literally took an hour trying to exfoliate it off. I ran my fingers through my hair when I was driving back home disappointed and a chunk of dark dye was smeared in my hands clearly not rinsed all the way. When I was told multiple times they did not darken my hair at all yet I'll link the pictures below to show. I don't think I should have to go to a salon 3 times to get what I asked for the 1st time. My hair was not terrible I would say but for going back a 2nd time it was still not I asked for.
