I made an appointment with MK after a fairly intense search on Yelp for a salon. I wanted something above the "standard chain salon" experience, but not too intense/extreme, and the photos and reviews led me here. I was able to make an appointment quickly. The price was reasonable, and the treatment was exactly what I was looking for. Plus the conversation was quite enjoyable. I met the owner before he opened at this location. I will gladly make the 25 minute drive to have Michael cut my hair.  It is a peace of mind to have someone who is consistent, professional, and friendly to cut your hair.  He pays high attention to detail, and is never in a rush to get through your cut. His prices are also very fair. I've brought my 5 year old son for cuts a few times and he is always excited to see the fish and play on the mini ping pong table.
