She broke my base, did a full foil with two shades and a bonder to de-frizz my hair, then toned it. Plus the cut/blow dry. It was $175 and in my experience it's the best value I have EVER had! One important thing to note that was unique - everyone really seemed to love their job, and get along, it was a great vibe. That's important our hair is different, it takes more time and sometimes products the salon wouldn't normally have on hand. ( supply and demand I get it so I have no problem bringing it) she offers me braidless (at $300 lasting "4-16 weeks"... whaaat? That's a pretty vast amount of time) saying that braids will only last 3-5 days. Being in the industry 12+years specializing in ethnic hair with my first 7 professional years in an urban salon, and having sew in hair by braids almost all my life I can only come to these conclusions, she is inexperienced (judging by the store front I don't believe this is the case) didn't want to deal with the difficulties of my texture hair, or just wanted an upsell. I'm not one for bad reviews. I always try to find the positive even in a lack luster experience. The only thing that I can find here is that her texts seemed polite. I wanted to add for anyone unfamiliar with hair additions that braidless sew ins definitely wouldn't be a good option for me. Here are the reasons one my natural hair doesn't have a coarse texture so the micro beads ( a plastic hole that you clamp down) would easily slip. Two I bleach my hair and three I have shorter hair ,micro beads are only recommended for longer healthy hair. Lastly this type of extension can't be pulled up. A dream catcher or fusion would be more appropriate, longer lasting as the same price

They not only style your hair but take the time to consult and treat your hair as well. It does not matter what you need done to your hair - They cover everything from weaves to locs. I've been going to Jade's for a long time and they have handled every hair phase beautifully. I can personally recommend Michelle and Katrina as they have been my stylists over the years. Everything from fixing a bad haircut (gotten someplace else), repairing hair I damaged, seamlessly transitioning really short hair into long hair - while still keeping the cuts SUPER cute, weaves, crochet braids, my transition to natural hair and it's styling and lastly the install and maintenance of my locs. I must say I was very impressed I had a 1 o'clock apt the shop was clean beautifully decorated and pleasant.I showed him a pic of a style I wanted and I had to say no more. When I was in his chair it was all about me he knew exactly what I wanted and did his thing.
