We sat at a two top by a window which allowed us to take in the late morning sunshine and see all the birds on the trees outside. The cortado was spot on and served in a handmade cup. The focaccias were substantial and had a great tang. The buckwheat chocolate chip cookie was tasty day of and day after. I enjoyed also seeing the production baking area that was visible behind the main retail counters. Seeing the bakers shape the loaves, dipped into the seed mixture, and placed into bannetons arranged on speed carts to proof before baking.
