We had a great first experience here. The lady bartender was very attentative and friendly. We sat outside with our dog. They have leash hooks and dog water bowls. Nothing real special about this place, menu is pretty on par with other brewery menus and prices were fair. It's kinda isolated (in an industrial area) I really hope they make it cause beer and food were good. Won't drive far to come back, but if we're ever in the area again then probably. read more

I recently discovered my favorite cider, one of the best I ever had. It is called French Pear. If you like cider and are planning going there, try it you won't be disappointed. Pretty average brewery in an industrial park. Has a nice outdoor beer garden area including string lights for the full ambiance. Beers are alright, nothing to call home about. We enjoyed the pretzels. The sausages just tasted like grocery store sausages heated up in a steam or water bath. had a great visit here. I arrived after work. My new office Located in Wilsonville and I specifically meant to try Vanguard for a couple. Located in an industrial park, Vanguard had nice lights strung up on their patio and appeared inviting. I had a teeny bit of work to do, so was hoping for some table space. There were a few folks seated outside. That might've been too chilly for me. Luckily, there was one last table, right at the entrance. Awkward, but funny at the same time. I went to the counter and the fella greeted me. I stated I wanted to get a beer maybe a bite, he asked me to find a seat. It took a good while for service, but hell, I'm glad to be here and there are a few other patrons. Once I got my order in my beer and then subsequently food came in good order. I ordered the Wiggle Butt IPA, fresh and hoppy. Then the quesadilla. It was fun - when it arrived I kind of questioned, but they'd cut it up into bite size pieces. It seemed legit and tasted great, came with chips. The dip or salsa was very agreeable. Nice flavor. Quesadilla wasn't packed with ingredients, but it got the job done. Their beer has come a long way over the last 4 years and their tap room, brewery was festive. Some nice pictures on the wall, beer oriented and other. About $21+ for quesadilla, two pints. I originally found out about This place at the Portland brew fest they had the best beer there. If you go try the Barry White if it's in season but u really can't miss whatver you get. We love this place! We recently moved to Wilsonville and have been back quite a few times since. We only go when the patio is open because we bring our dog but it's great and we love the amazing patio that is super dog friendly! The beer is great and tastes original compared to some other places who just taste like other breweries. The pizza is to die for! We favor the Wildcat, so delicious! Delicious beer! Found the company via a tap house elsewhere. They had the beer listed as a name that I later came to learn was not the actual name! I was searching everywhere for this beer called "TNT" from Vanguard and nobody had it! Well of course not!! It's called BeerTopia! Funny story. Luckily was able to figure that out when I called them. I went to Vanguard for a retirement party. Our group rented out the entire place for the evening. The bar tender was really great, she was the only one working and was able to take care of everyone in a professional and friendly manner. She gave great recommendations and was very patient with everyone. The drinks were fine but I don't drink beer so I'm not the person to ask about it and I don't watch much sports so I spent most of this party doing both of those things. The food wasn't that great. They offer a few sandwiches and some pizzas. We tried a few things and it just wasn't very impressive. I ordered a bbq chicken sandwich and half of it tasted like it was a totally different sandwich. There was this sweet cinnamon flavor, I don't know what was going on. The space was nice, and I really liked the helicopter parts on the wall and hearing about the owners story. Review for beer-so so good. Last time I came beer was good, but not great. They have improved GREATLY. Both IPAs we had were very complex and had excellent hop flavor-I am an avid beer drinker. My husband and I came here last night from Newberg to have their seasonal Berry White. Its pure deliciousness. I was hesitant to order food, but my husband was hungry so we ordered an order of nachos to split- menu said it came with melted cheese, olives, tomatoes, onions and cilantro. When the order came out, it had very few toppings and was missing both the onions and cilantro. Not a huge deal, but for $12 it seemed like kind of a rip off for what we got. When we mentioned it to the waitress that took our order, she just told us, "oh I dont know whats on it I dont work in the kitchen." No attempt was made to make it right or to comp our order. It was pretty surprising. I'll definitely be back for your awesome beer, but ill pass on your food. read more

The beer is good. It is nice that they brew their own beer on site, as well as, brining in other guest taps. Very friendly bar tender. The brewer used to be a pilot so interesting decoration over the bar with old plain parts. The inside atmosphere needs to be worked on more, and other snacks besides popcorn. read more

Clean and fairly modern tap room/bar in a dumb business park area of Wilsonville. The happy hour crowd on a Friday night is mostly professionals and older folks. Barkeep is a friendly young chap.
