When you find a gem of a school like Willows on Quebec, it's the best feeling as a parent, and for your kids. My daughter jumps for joy as she walks in her classroom. The teachers honestly love being there and really care for the children. Plus they offer swim lessons in the summer! My only wish, they would have space for kids under 2.5 so my son could go. But he's already on the list!

I am currently 37 years old. I attended this school when I was 3 and 4. My memory has faded some…read morebut I still remember how horrible the staff was to me. They HATED me. I remember during nap time I wasnt sleeping. I reached out to touch a toy truck. A big fat teacher, she had short blonde curly/wavy hair. She was overweight and she was wearing a purple shirt. She stood over me and screamed at me. Then she went back to a table that was a circular table and sat with four other teachers. All of them bashed me. I remember knowing that I couldnt cry because if I cried I would be mocked. I silently held back my tears as the teachers said horrible things about me. I dont remember exactly what was said. Its been many years but I do remember that things were said and it was mean. I remember being forced to eat food I hated, coleslaw that was runny and soggy. I wasnt allowed to eat anything else until I ate my slaw first and I hated it. I remember the lunch room being down some stairs as you walk into the front. I dont know if they changed things up since then but back then the lunch room was down a few steps as you walk in, past the front desk. The kids sit at tables and back then we walked up to get food if we wanted more. The lunch lady refused to feed me until I ate my soggy slaw first. To this day the smell of slaw gets to me. I remember another incident where we were making toy boats. We had to use string to sew in the part of the boat, making it fun colors. I remember all of the other kids getting help. The teachers were patient and kind to them from what I remember. When it came to me asking for help I was shoved away. I remember the room being in the back, as you walk past the lunchroom. You walk in the doors and walk down a few steps to the lunchroom, if thats still the lunchroom and you walk to the left, around the lunchroom and there is a room in the back. I think they called it the yellow room back then but my memory is foggy, as its been 34 years. Thats the room where most of it happened. The pool was another story. I was ignored in the pool. I had an accident, busting my lip in the shallow end. The teachers ignored it but the lifeguard noticed and helped me. The lifeguard had long brown hair that was tied back in a ponytail. She seemed to be early 20s from what I remember. The lifeguard stand was by the wall, opposite end of where you walk out to get to the pool. Its been 34 years and my memory has faded some. I was 3 and 4, very little at the time but I still remember. I did not send my oldest to preschool due to being afraid it would happen to him. We will be possibly homeschooling due to me not trusting the school system due to my preschool years. Dont send your children here. No way in hell would I be sending my kids here. I have a few children now of preschool and elementary school age and this is one school I will not be sending to.

Too bad, they have to get on stage and perform. Do they have test anxiety? Deal with it. The counselor seems involved and like he cares, but when it comes down to it he passes blame and plays as if he doesn't know what's going on and he wasn't involved in the group conversation. Once the administration makes up their mind, it doesn't matter what your child does, they have decided they want them out. Most of the parents are fine, but many seem very impressed with themselves. (Only the five star reviews were listed on Niche.com which makes me wonder what other reviews are not included on their website.) My son has attended Aspen Academy from kindergarten, now in fourth grade. If you want a full on business and leadership program for your child, then the school is well designed. Our son is cognitively gifted and grasps math concepts quickly. Aspen Academy does not offer acceleration, nor true differentiation in the classroom. You would be better off at a good neighborhood public school. Their culture of kindness is great. Aspen Academy changes their curriculum every 3 years, so as a parent you'll need to be on top of what your kid is learning. For Conservative Christians, be on guard, because the curriculum chosen for literature and social studies in 2025, has teachings from Buddhism and Hinduism. Very controversial content to be aware of, including some pieces being read from books that have some racist content. We were promised the 'racist portions' would not be read to our son. There are some teachers and staff we love there, who we wish all the best. May God bless them!

It's always unfortunate seeing a 2 star review on a high school but the truth must be told today…read more The administration does not care about their students, they only care about getting them in trouble. And already this review is sounding very similar to the one of my middle school. I can't say that all teachers don't care care about their students but it is clear that the game of favorites plays a more than large role. The reason I'm even giving Littleton 2 stars is because the kids are very friendly and it's easy to become the hero of any sports team. For those of you who are competitive and want to play a sport at the next level. Do not go here. It's more about having fun and making yourself seem better than you really are.

It's All About the People…read more I had a chance to visit Adams during the holiday break. Many of the employees volunteer their time to make Christmas extra special for the children. I was lucky enough to be Santa's helper. He came in on a firetruck and greeted all of the kids, much to their delight. Then, the kiddos had a chance to sit on Kris Kringle's lap. They got to tell ole Saint Nicholas what they wanted for Christmas while I took pictures. Thanks to the wonderful volunteer effort, parents got to have the pictures with Santa processed and printed before leaving. It was really a special time. Thank you to all of the Adams 12 employees who volunteer each year and bring smiles to little faces.

As a former employee I would not recommend this place and I'm writing this so other people think…read moreabout it before applying here. I was a ecta (Early Childhood Assistant) at Thornton and bright horizons (inside horizon high school) The staff act basically like teenagers, they lack of professionalism, hard to get in contact with coordinators to express concerns. They don't care about you, they just care about having people working and doing their job but not about how you feel or how the work environment is. I just quit last Friday, the classroom I was in had 18 kids some with special needs and bad behavioral issues. The teacher over there didn't want to take advise from anyone and just wanted to do her way and the classroom was a completely disaster it was impossible to do activities with them or circle time. Last year they had 4 classrooms open and they decided to close two, so they had the bright idea of put all 18 kids in each classroom and not enough staff. They only have 3 ects, no site director a bunch of subs and the "specialist" just stare at you and watch you struggle with the kids and just take notes and leave the room. The coordinators knew what was happening and did nothing about it, they kept enrolling kids knowing they didn't had enough staff to cover. It was a truly safety concern being in that classroom, kids had really bad behavior issues, I think if we didn't had a lot of kids or at lest enough help I wouldn't had left but since the coordinator didn't care at all I had to put myself first at left. When I let her know I was not coming back and they saw how bad it was they finally decided to do something about it. I'm just thankful nothing bad happened when I was there because I don't think those parents would have believed me if I tell them how bad that classroom was. If you are thinking about applying at this district specially preschoool just know coordinators and teachers love to gossip around, are not professional, are selfish and don't care about staff and the people that are there trying to help.
