The new leadership - Tina and Rachel - are amazing and just what this center needed after a rough few months when the previous director left. They are communicative and always around, providing comfort when you have to leave your kids. Beyond that, my son loves them both and that is the most obvious sign that they are wonderful. After some turnover last year, I feel like the current teacher roster is working out very well. The teachers are engaging with the kids and me, we get a ton of photos every day, and my son is thriving in the environment. In particular I want to call out the teachers that make me comfortable leaving my kids - Amy, Maggie and Marta in infants. Marta also helps in the kitchen so extra kudos to her. And Ms Audrey for preschool. We're very happy with our experience and would highly recommend!! TRULY cannot say enough wonderful things and happy to speak to anyone about my experience.

This is demonstrated by the numerous awards Dennison receives, the community of teachers, students, parents and alumni and the strong connection between Dennison and D'Evelyn High School. Dennison is a large lottery only Jeffco elementary school. It has a very diverse and inclusive population of students and families who attend and to me, this is one reason I think the school is exceptional. Dedicated teachers lead rigorous whole group classes to fully prepare students for junior high, high school, college and beyond. All children are held to the same educational and behavioral expectations. The students learn respect for others, accountability for learning and gain confidence in themselves and their abilities. The staff is hard-working, very dedicated and cares deeply about protecting the learning environment for students. If you are considering Dennison, take a tour. You'll notice the students are respectful, quite when walking through the halls and if you look into each classroom you will find children engaged and learning. The children utilize text books and can be observed reading, writing and taking many tests. Dennison is continually the highest ranked elementary school in Jeffco because the educational and behavioral model works.
