When I asked how much It was 0 + tax ! Can't beat that! So nice to finish my project , and because they are so helpful for a gal looking for a project piece I can imagine buying a whole room or house of carpet would be a pleasant experience ! So for houses big or small ... I recommend .

Ron at United Floors recently found me the exact laminate floor I wanted. I grew up with and my…read morefirst purchased home had the real thing, narrow oak hardwood. I just can't like wide plank in a residence. I tried living with the carpet that was in place when I purchased my patio home but I hated it. Two shops insulted my taste when I asked for 3" random length boards. Ron found it for me! My budget covered the price quoted and install was not a long wait. Brian and Scott did a beautiful job! I have a seamless floor with transition strips only where the laminate meets the kitchen and bath floors. I am thrilled with my new floor. I highly recommend Ron at United Floors. Thank you Ron!

My parents went to John's Barn & Bedroom in Nanaimo because they were told by the owner that he…read morecould help them find a firm, supportive mattress that would relieve their chronic back pain. They trusted his advice and purchased a mattress for over $6,000, believing his assurances that he would make sure they were "100% satisfied" and that if there were any issues, he would make it right. Within just a couple of weeks, they realized the mattress was far too soft and uncomfortable. They went back to speak with John multiple times, but instead of offering any meaningful solution, he told them to "keep sleeping on it" and that their bodies would adjust. Months later, their back pain has only gotten worse. Now, he is refusing to stand by his word and has told them it's a "final sale." This entire experience has left my parents feeling misled, disappointed, and taken advantage of, especially after choosing to support a small local business instead of purchasing from a reputable Canadian company that offers a 365-night trial and full money-back guarantee. As someone who has personally tried the mattress during a weekend stay, I can confirm that it is extremely uncomfortable and causes back pain almost immediately. It's unacceptable for a business owner to promise satisfaction, take thousands of dollars from seniors on a fixed income, and then walk away from his word when the product clearly fails to deliver. We hoped John would make this right, but since he has not, I feel it's important to warn others: think twice before purchasing from this store. If you want honesty, comfort, and accountability, look elsewhere.
