    FYI, Jacob and Alonso were amazing!…read more Where do I begin...I paid for a move into one of their lockers for a month. Then they were to bring my belongings to my new place Jan. 2022. They arrived late after letting me know to be there at 10am because 'the guys like to start early', they were 1 1/2 hours late because they had to fill up the truck (on my time). They left after dropping off my stuff and I quickly began to realize that I was missing a bunch of boxes and two shelving units, plus one of the shelves to my lovely hutch. I contacted and spoke with Andrew Foster about locating my belongings, he said, 'he was working on it and he'd have the guys look again in my locker'. I received a text from Andrew with a photo of my family's old truck which one of the items I was so upset about having it 'misplaced'...I was thrilled. But they were still trying to locate all my stuff, so they were going to 'tear a wall down in the warehouse to find the rest?! I learned that when they can't fit everything into the locker, they store it in the warehouse and separate it with 'walls', 'you know moving blankets' he said. What? I paid for a locker, why didn't anyone tell me this or at the very least, make a note on my file as to where they put my other belongings? "They forgot" The remainder of my items were found, 'in his office in an alcove' or something! Finally the 2nd load of my belongings were dropped off and left outside under the cover of deck. So I alone had to move all those boxes and two shelving units into my place. (I have arthritis in my back and Fibromyalgia, I am on disability), no offer was made and still no compensation for this trouble and added stress. Once I had pulled all the boxes in the house, I began to go through them. One of the last boxes I went through was one of my bathroom boxes, the minute I opened it, it was very clear that a rodent had eaten through the box and everything was covered in rodent droppings. I moved it outside and emailed Andrew, both myself and my friend and advocate messaged him because at this point I was livid. He blamed me and said I shouldn't have packed food in my bathroom box (of course I didn't). He distracted the conversation with comments like, 'in all my 15 years of business no one has ever made a claim' and 'I have never know our warehouse to have a rodent problem'. Like I must have made all of this up. He was sent photos, my quote stating I paid for a locker as well as 2 moves. He has refused to pay for any of my items ruined in that rat box. That's the only thing I was seeking, that some of my damaged items be replaced. These items were ruined from not being stored in a locker. I can not afford to replace these items, being on disability and not working at the moment. Just a terrible way to conduct business. I understand that mistakes happen, but how you deal with those mistakes, speaks volumes about the business and the integrity of the owner.

We provided moving blankets but they didn't even use them. Andrew, the owner has said he could come to an agreement by sending us an e-transfer of $50. Totally disgusting.

    It was a last minute move, Hardi confirmed the availability right away. he was very friendly from…read morethe beginning till the end. his team came a little late due to the over loaded work and moving season but that was ok with me. his team was friendly and professional, especially Ismail in the picture wrapping my TV to protect it while moving. he is quick and active. they had enough materials to protect the furnitures while moving. I've asked for many boxes. they were very generous. I forgot a small cupboard at the old apartment but Hardi came with me to pick it up with his truck ( Hardi joined his team at my new apartment ). he is in the picture assembling the bunk bed. it's a complicated bed to assemble because of high safety measures on the bed. I have very large antique furniture and Many movers would not like to deal with the heavy load. They were willing to take on the challenge in a creative way. They were super helpful and very friendly. Hardy is very efficient and he leads the team very well. They made the move easy and stress free for me. I am so glad I booked them and I will be booking them again for my family who are also moving at the end of the month. I will recommend them to all my friends and family. I am very pleased with the excellent service they provided for my moving needs. 5 stars!

    I have dealt with Jack many times from a business to business perspective, with no issues. This…read moretime I needed a repair for my personal use. After doing my own research and understanding the repair and ETA for parts I made the decision to repair my appliance, as opposed to purchase a new one. Reason for this is a new appliance would have put me back two times the repair cost. He seemed reluctant from the beginning (I should have taken that as a sign he really wasn't interested in doing the diagnostic or repair, and not trusted him to complete the work - despite previous working relations). I noted a new appliance was going to be twice the price, and explained I would rather complete the repair than shell out additional money for a new one. At the time of diagnostic, he reset something, and "coincidentally" couldn't replicate the issue. He then told me to go buy an appliance that is roughly the cost of the repair; although he failed to realize that unit is a construction spec, one that only developers can purchase. I knew this, because I had tried to purchase one prior to me call ing Jack's in the first place. The minute he left, the issue persisted. Leaving me at square one, with a diagnostic fee, an unanswered text and phone call. I suppose he is only good at dealing with "easy, quick fix repairs".
