Search no more, Melek is the Remodel Wizard! I had a whole vision for what I wanted to create in…read moreorder to make my claustrophobic house a more open space. I had even taken my French doors from my last house, because I wanted to create the partition using them, and Melek made my dream come true - it looks gorgeous. I called him one day, he came in and took a look, and when I told him I wanted this done as soon as possible. He said, "How's next week?" Unbelievable. From the moment he walked in, he got down to business, measured, explained, gave me options. He is the perfect combination of "craftsman meets scrappy work environment," meaning his team did not sacrifice quality or attention to detail even while having to work in my messy downtown space. He really made magic and it looks better than I could have imagined. There is a big difference between just knowing how to "build" something and also having a delicate hand and an eye for aesthetic quality and clean work - I hadn't asked for crown molding but he added it knowing what style I was going for and it looks absolutely gorgeous. As a side note, I had been especially vocal about how "sensitive" my neighbors are with noise and work around the neighborhood, and to please be careful to make as little noise as possible while some noise had to be made in drilling and sawing wood, etc. The Property Doctors team was very careful and conscious of being discreet with the noise and in the neighborhood. As other people have said, they clean and sweeps everything up at the end, bring their own trash bags, etc. Property Doctors has all the pros: they are punctual, flexible, extremely reasonably priced, humble, respectful, and overall have a great spirit and energy. I feel extremely lucky to have found Melek and his team, and now I am excited to stare at my new wall with French doors-turned-panels.

Melek gave us a very fair bid and also offered to clean up the fallen, huge, tree. He and his are crew is friendly, incredibly hard working, professional and thorough. Melek noticed things the other bidders we had, had missed. His motto seems to be that to do a job right, you have to over perform. He did a lot more than the deck and didn't charge us extra. Our deck is beautiful, the tree is gone and the other repairs he offered are done. He and his crew are friendly, professional, thorough, affordable and very hard working. We can't recommend them enough.

He was very helpful during the quoting process, educating me of the different roofing options and providing competitive pricing that helped me select him amongst the bids I received. As my roof was starting to experience leaks, he helped squeeze me ahead into his schedule given that there was fall season rain upcoming. His team is a tight knit group that did a great job completing the work over the course of a week or so. They took a lot of pictures as well to evidence the damaged boards that were being replaced. As I was present during the job, I can attest that they were thorough and professional. His team also helped with a follow-up visit to replace some flashing that have been missed the first time. Rob is also a straightshooter and a standup guy that will spend the extra time to educate you and make sure you feel comfortable with your decisions. This didn't stop the project - A&G had no problem with my neighbor being a point of contact. It ended up he and another neighbor couldn't stop texting me and sending pictures. In addition to doing the job requested, they also helped with a temporary repair to our damaged gutters. They also helped fix a gutter drain issue that was causing an annoying drip where we sit at our deck. Overall these are skilled craftsmen who are easy to work with and charge a fair price.
