This Company has quality and knowledgeable staff members who offered me several professional options and always engaged with me to answer my questions plus even including a few of my personal requests for the roof replacement on our home built in 1916. Their hard working crew members were well organized and worked well as a Team. My Roof Replacement project took Three Days to complete with much care for our house, yard, plants and final cleanup. Our roof has a quality look. I definitely recommend Skagit Roofing as a highly capable and competitive contractor for anyone needing their roof replaced. I would give this Job 10 ********** Stars should that rating be available!

I have some experience in the building trades and was impressed by what I saw both in the quality of work and by the simple fact that unlike many Contractors/Subs these days, when Spane's crew got started, they didn't stop until the project was finished. In early 2025 I decided I wanted to build a 30'x32' shop at my house for my own use. I got bids from 5 different contractors and I decided on Spane for three main reasons: First, in my initial and subsequent meetings with Michelle, their designer and estimator, I learned she was very knowledgeable, personable, and very easy to work with. She took me through the entire design/build process from the beginning to the end, cheerfully answered my questions and put up with me changing my mind several times during the process. Because of her thoroughness, there were no surprises from start to finish. She made it easy. Second, Spane's bid came in the lowest, but I thought it was reasonable as I had done my own estimate of materials and labor based on current costs. (Unlike some of these Contractors around here who jack their bids up to try to make a years profit from a 2 month project...) Third, and most important, over the years I had seen for myself the quality of their work and at the end of my build, my new shop is exactly what I expected and exactly what I wanted. In today's world, Spane actually understands and pursues customer satisfaction and I can't recommend them highly enough.

He flashed it perfectly, built a cricket around the chimney, which was in a valley. His work was done quickly with incredible workmanship and not only is Nick is super friendly guy, but so were the guys on his crew. I sent out bids to five other roofing companies and he came highly recommended, and I like the fact that he was so easy to work with. I also like the fact that everything he did was of the finest quality, whether it was the knowledge that he shared, and also the fact that he used quality products and went the extra mile by using metal in the valleys with TPO and rain and water shield under the shingles. You can't beat the work he does for the price! But we didn't choose his company just for the price we chose it for the quality and it shows.

At that time we did not realize that they had nailed the shingles through our gutter guards which voided the lifetime warranty on the gutter guards. We called Orlando's within the two-year warranty timeframe to come and remove the shingles with the nails in the guards and they wouldn't even come and look at what our complaint was to rectify it. They wanted to charge us to come out and do the repairs to what was clearly covered under our warranty. Very disappointing.

In addition to doing the job requested, they also helped with a temporary repair to our damaged gutters. They also helped fix a gutter drain issue that was causing an annoying drip where we sit at our deck. Overall these are skilled craftsmen who are easy to work with and charge a fair price. When Steve…read morecame to look at the roof and give a bid, he said that he was not sure if my roof had plywood on the whole roof or not. Looking at it from the attic he could see some roofing nails. All the other 3 companies I had give an estimate said the same thing. My house is 62 years old and is very solidly built. When he did the bid he included 3 sheets of plywood just in case. He did not want to include all the sheets in case it did not need it but said that any additional sheets would be billed at an additional cost. If it was needed, it would take 50 sheets to cover the entire roof. I planned on needing the 50 sheets, so I added that cost to his bid and went with them. When it was all done, he said that it was 58 sheets (which I question, all the other companies I had give me an estimate said it would be 50 sheets). He did not give me the credit for the 3 sheets he added to the bid, saying they were in addition to the extra ones. Needless to say, it cost more than the bid. I would say watch what they are doing and take note of the supplies. The work looks good, except the flashing on the chimney. After not hearing back from them about it, I am having another company come and fix it. I don't really trust them to do it correctly. Only go with them if you want to pay more than they quote.
