They came out the next day after I called requesting a quote, and when they arrived they not only gave me a bid, but also said they could do the work right then and there. They had taken the initiative to bring the right color shingles and their approach to the repair was perfect for the circumstances (old roof - we just need to make it a few more years). In addition to doing the job requested, they also helped with a temporary repair to our damaged gutters. They also helped fix a gutter drain issue that was causing an annoying drip where we sit at our deck. Overall these are skilled craftsmen who are easy to work with and charge a fair price. I will use them again next time I need roof repair or replacement.

After booking my appointment weeks in advance (he couldn't get me in sooner than that?), he was a COMPLETE NO-SHOW. Apparently, even my texting him earlier on the same day of that first missed appointment didn't make him realize that we had an appointment that day. After he didn't show, I called him, & he rescheduled for the very next day (why did it take him weeks to get me in before?). And then he canceled the SECOND appointment an hour or two before the appointment window was ending, so effectively, a no-show 2 days in a row. (I had taken 2 days off work for him.) He told me he "didn't do" the floor repairs I needed an estimate of, though he had scheduled me for exactly that in the first place, & prior to the FIRST missed appointment, he already had photos of my flooring. Then he never texted back after just telling me he wouldn't help me. His communication was consistently slow or absent. One of the worst parts was that when I wrote a complaint about him on Yelp, he had the nerve to reply & say he had never heard of me & that we had never done business together, not realizing I've got ALL the receipts--incoming & outgoing phone calls to his phone number, and texts showing exactly what he said to me & when he said it--he even signed his name to those texts. When I called him out on his outright lies, telling him I could prove it, he literally immediately deleted & rewrote his reply to me to be all sweet and apologetic, which REPLACED the answer where he basically called me a liar & said he had no idea who I was and that we had never been in contact. (He replied that to someone else awhile back, too. Makes me think that was a lie as well.) Ilya is a DOUBLE NO-SHOW, an outright liar, & a real piece of work. SUPER shady. We called Four Seasons on a recommendation of friends to take a look. Given the weather, we decided to replace the roof and hired Jay and Kristy from Four Seasons roofing. We are so glad as the we could not have been more pleased with their highly conscientious work and the final result. Although our roof was only 8 or so years old, the questionable leaks in the house and rusted out fireplace stacks caused us concern. Jay said the roof itself looks ok and he could repair the stacks that had rusted out. The leaks appeared to be coming in from the vents via wind. The current shingles were a low quality, so we decided to go ahead and just have it replaced. Oh Boy, we were so glad we did! Once Jay and his crew got into tearing off the old roofing, they found the vents (the source of the leaks) should have NEVER been installed over a vaulted roof with rigid foam insulation and the shoddy previous roofing job caused 5 4x8 plywood panels to be so rotten you could crumble them with just a squeeze of your hand. Jay and his team are very experienced, conscientious, detailed, and hardworking...just flat out great folks who get the job done, and done RIGHT! They are honest contractors of the highest quality and we are very appreciative of a job well-done. Highly recommend Four Seasons to anyone that needs any work done to their roofs.

I have some experience in the building trades and was impressed by what I saw both in the quality of work and by the simple fact that unlike many Contractors/Subs these days, when Spane's crew got started, they didn't stop until the project was finished. In early 2025 I decided I wanted to build a 30'x32' shop at my house for my own use. I got bids from 5 different contractors and I decided on Spane for three main reasons: First, in my initial and subsequent meetings with Michelle, their designer and estimator, I learned she was very knowledgeable, personable, and very easy to work with. She took me through the entire design/build process from the beginning to the end, cheerfully answered my questions and put up with me changing my mind several times during the process. Because of her thoroughness, there were no surprises from start to finish. She made it easy. Second, Spane's bid came in the lowest, but I thought it was reasonable as I had done my own estimate of materials and labor based on current costs. (Unlike some of these Contractors around here who jack their bids up to try to make a years profit from a 2 month project...) Third, and most important, over the years I had seen for myself the quality of their work and at the end of my build, my new shop is exactly what I expected and exactly what I wanted. In today's world, Spane actually understands and pursues customer satisfaction and I can't recommend them highly enough.

I needed my 80 year old basement garage floor epoxied. I had a bunch of companies provide quotes…read more Some actually provided quotes without even coming out and inspecting my garage. I didn't trust these quotes at all since I knew my old garage floor was not in great shape. Obed showed great knowledge with epoxying floors. He pointed out a bunch of cracks and pits that would need to be opened up and filled. My garage also had something strange where someone had extended the footing with additional concrete. This caused extra concrete ledges around my entire footing. Obed said he could address all of it. I also needed trim installed and he said he could do that as well. Even with the trim install, his quote came out competitive with the other quotes. Obed did an amazing job with the garage floor epoxy and the trim work. I was very impressed with the end result. I know he went above and beyond to take additional time to fix issues so that the end result would be good. For example, we agreed to have one small part of the extra concrete ground down so the floor would be flat. As they were prepping the other extra concrete for epoxy, the concrete actually started cracking and falling off. Without charging me extra, they also removed this extra concrete so the end result was an entirely flat floor without any additional concrete ledges. After grinding the floor, Obed realized that it would best to level the floor. Again, without an additional charge, he leveled the floor. He also filled in a bunch of concrete holes and voids on the concrete step by the door leading into the house. When installing the trim, they took the time to specially contour the bottom of the trim to match the many dips in my old garage floor. While leveling did help with the dips, my garage floor just had some extreme dips. In the end, I was beyond happy with the end result. I originally hired him to epoxy my floor, but he ended up fixing so many different things and made the entire garage better because of it.
