I assumed the mixer cartridge needed replacing. This is a repair I would usually do myself, but since I live about 45 minutes away I decided to call a plumber in the area. Based upon the 5 star reviews I called Marysville AA Plumbing. 2. After looking at the problem the plumber recommended taking out the entire existing Delta fixture, "since Delta parts were difficult source," and installing an entire new Moen valve and housing assembly, which would also require cutting a hole in the adjacent closet to access the pipes. Estimated total (not including drywall repair) - $1600. Could the plumber breakdown the estimate into parts & labor? No. Really? Sounded a bit steep to me but what do I know. Maybe Delta parts are really hard to find. After passing the quote along to my wife we agreed to say no thanks and get another bid. 3. At this point I went online and within 5 minutes located the replacement cartridge at multiple Home Depots for $65. I purchased the cartridge and installed it myself in under 30 minutes. 4. Either I was being scammed or the plumber didn't know what he was talking about. Beware.

I spoke with two electricians who were either mystified by the situation or gave me bad abduct. Will came up with a plan to use the power supply from the intercom system for the transformer. He also installed a chime box and custom built a wood plate for the camera (the electricians told me that I would have to do that on my own and would just install the camera hanging by its wires). There were no updates, no follow-up, and no accountability. By October 2025 after months of silence, we cancelled the service and requested a refund. It is now December 2025, and despite repeated calls and constant reassurances that the refund is "being processed," nothing has been returned to us. At this point, their lack of communication, failure to honor the agreement, and ongoing delays have left us no choice but to involve legal counsel to recover the money we are owed. While their "contract" states 30% nonrefundable, I cannot accept that their failure to perform, bad faith, unjust enrichment, and potential breach of contract would be an excuse to have them keep the money that's rightfully ours. This experience has shown a clear disregard for customers, and we would strongly caution others before working with this company.
