I cannot express my gratitude enough for Pavel and his team…read more We are first time homeowners with a septic system. Unfortunately, our system failed at the worst time. I had been laid off in the spring due to no fault of my own and was out of work for 4 months. I was slated to start my new job in a few weeks and was leaving for a preplanned trip in 4 days... I found Earthwork Solutions through Angie's List and am so so grateful I did. He didn't charge me to come out same day and take a look at our situation. He was realistic and patient with us as our knowledge of septic systems was very much lacking. I explained we were feeling financially strained due to the job loss and I was worried about repairs happening when I wouldn't be home. He was very understanding and keep us in the loop during the repairs. Pavel and his team went above and beyond for us. There is a large shed, built by a previous homeowner, where it absolutely shouldn't be and instead of forcing us to pay even more to demo it/move it his team literally dug underneath it, saving us hundreds of dollars if not more. The crews were kind to us and didn't mind that our young children were always curious and wanted to see what they were doing. They cleaned up afterwards and were very clearly committed to doing a great job as quickly and non-invasively as possible. I will be only turning to this company for any and all of our septic & plumbing needs going forward. If you are unsure who to hire I strongly encourage you to contact Earthwork Solutions

They did some septic work for me, quickly and efficiently…read more I had a pump and a float fail, causing the system to back up, they were referred and are a family owned and operated buisness. After they got it to a point that I was able to use water they diagnosed the pump failure and pulled the pump. They then verified it out to double check it was not a control or float issue, pumps are expensive and they ensured it was indeed the issue before replacing it. Once that was completed they isolated the failed float and replaced it to ensure if there is an issue in the future it will alarm and prevent the backup. 100% will use them again and refer them to anyone looking. They are an honest and fair family-owned buisness, exactly who i would want tobsupport!

Your one stop for House Lifting and House Moving!…read more So you want to move a house from Kent to Orcas Island? These are the guys to do it for you. I've worked with them many times over the past 6 years or so, ever since a house move in Columbia City (to Seward Park). They have a inventory of beautiful old houses slated for demolition that they will sell you (for $1 or so) if you pay for them to move the house to your lot. The moves can vary widely in price, and you will need to pay for the "wire costs", or all the cost of temporarily relocation overhead lines during the house move (usually done in the wee hours during weekends). Moves frequently cost over $100k and involve barges. Contact them via their website, or their Seattle rep Jeff McCord, and presto, a classic old home can be yours!

In 2008 Nickel Bros had a house that was a perfect match for a lot we bought a few years earlier on Bainbridge Island. We'd recommend Nickel Bros to anyone looking to recycle a house. Geoff and Candace Daigle, Bainbridge Island, Washington.
