I'm not normally one to write many reviews, but this is one of the rare cases in which I am so impressed with the work, I really feel moved to say something. I hired Alex of Earth Warrior to excavate a retention pond that was completely overgrown and unmaintained. I'd had many people come out and look at it with mixed results and very high bids, but from the first meeting, he was completely confident he could get the pond back into compliance again, AND fix our commercial fence, for which I was seeing other contractors. Not only that, he gave me an extremely competitive price. He scheduled me three weeks out, and showed up exactly when he said he would (this is huge). He and his crew worked hard, finished when he said he would, and the job was superb. I am showing a before and after here because words don't do justice to how great a job he did. I'll start by saying Alex and his crew are great people to work with. I made a decent size home addition on the front of my home. They prepped the ground for laying foundation. The service they provided exceeded my standards. Showed up on time for the estimate and began work the next week. They also finished sooner than estimated which was great because I was on a time crunch. Alex is well educated and had an answer to all my questions. Very great work done by Alex, clean and careful. He needed to raise the elevation of the dirt and make it available for parking due to the fact that our driveway is at a very steep angle and impossible to park a vehicle on. Very fast work and quick to respond to calls, would definitely recommend for any projects relating to and or gravel pouring, excavating, leveling ground, putting in stone stairs and stone walls. Alex is an artist. He moved and situated a 2 ton rock for us - more more impressive was dealing with an old snag in our yard. It had to come down and because it was twisted and the woodpeckers loved it I wanted it laid in my garden - in one piece. Alex Made It Happen!
