I was in today to get a fuel filter changed and the undercarriage greased. While they were taking off the fuel filter, they accidentally broke my fuel line to the point where my truck was not drivable. Instead of saying it was rusty/rotten (which it was) and ready to snap anytime, they stepped up in fine fashion and told me they would be fixing the fuel line, towing the vehicle to a shop that had the proper equipment to fix it (Pennzoil down the street), and changing the fuel filter all at NO CHARGE to me. Keep in mind that this is on a Friday at 5:30. This was a terrible inconvenience to them and I'm sure what happened made them stay later than they wanted to. They did an excellent job repairing the fuel line and I was able to get home in a very reasonable amount of time. I'd like to thank all of the staff at both Performance Plus, and Pennzoil as they offered only the best service. I will continue to visit both places for my auto repairs and maintenance. I would like to thank both managers (Travis at Performance Plus and Zack at Pennzoil) for being outstanding in their line of work. These situations are examples of the difference between a business that cares and one that doesn't. I recommend both of these places to anyone. Thanks again to everyone. Great experience all around.

What I really liked was the fact that the two employees spoke to each other respectfully and professionally, confirming information and working as a team, not like a couple of poker buddies who happen to work together, yelling across the room. After trying to contact the dealer (no response), two independent auto repair shops (no response), I decided to stop at the Pit Stop where I have gone for oil changes for over 10 years. They immediately saw the problem when I pulled in, and I told them that I would pay them whatever they thought was appropriate to just reattach the shield so it wasn't dragging. After about 10 minutes, they emerged from the pit beneath the car and said it was all repaired. When I asked how much I owed them, they said "nothing." I insisted on tipping them for their time and trouble, but I was amazed that a repair for which any of the shops/dealers would have likely charged me over $100 and insisted on an appointment was handled by the Pit Stop crew at no charge with no waiting. I've always had great customer service there, but this went above and beyond. Thank you, Pit Stop crew!! I highly recommend your shop to others.
