At no point did anyone tell me that I needed to go to the unit to break the seal and lock it until August. Today 07/28/25, I received a call from Keila with this information. I sent someone over to the unit to do exactly that, that person immediately sent me pictures of the unit and asked, "you even know what you just rented?" I called Keila back and I asked if there was another unit in better conditions as I will not be moving my furniture into that unit on Saturday, she pretty much told me that I would have to wait to go in person on Saturday and see what can be done... pretty much no guaranteed solution to the problem! I clearly do not live in West Palm, it isn't just a trip down the road for me! If I would've waited until Saturday I would be pulling up in a U-Haul with all my furniture and potentially not even having a unit that's in decent conditions available for me... so to avoid any further frustration. I asked her to just close out my account out! With no care in the world, she simply told me that her manager said that there's nothing that they can do and they would refund me for the lockbox. This facility cheated me out of $100 for a place I never even been to, let alone stepped in or stored absolutely anything in. The pictures attached are the conditions of their storage units. I went to the unit and noticed that I was robbed, I had end tables approximately 8 of these (only 1 left), a coffee table, some antique hand saws and other items missing. It is disappointing that the storage unit employes never kept an eye on the roofers, never contacted me to let me know that the roof was going to be replaced. He had been able to access his parking spot 24 hours until the new company took over. There was no proper notification that rules changed after the new management came in. Anthony called him SHADY on the phone because my father called the call center after Anthony said there was nothing he could do about giving 24hr access. My father called the call center to see if they could make an exception or further assist since he has been a loyal customer and had 24 hour access up until they changed management. He is humiliated and appalled at the unprofessionalism of Anthony. How dare he call a customer SHADY after seeking help from the company call center. After being told by Anthony there was nothing they could do, it's his right to seek help from the call center. This is absolutely unacceptable, humiliating, and appaling that a customer is being called a name. Shame on Anthony for treating a customer this way and calling him SHADY. Clifford Mitchell will be taking his business elsewhere. As for Anthony, he shouldn't be working for a company with such a great reputation.
