I followed up via email yesterday and only then did I receive a response with an excuse: apparently, their workmen "did not feel comfortable" working on our third-story roof. They're roofers--how is a multi-story home a surprise? Why bother coming out if they weren't prepared or qualified to do the job in the first place?
