My hubby and I just went as a part of our anniversary date night. We will surely be back again. The people that were working were so kind and helpful. It was like visiting extended family. The wine was SO yummy and the food was really good as well. It's a help yourself type of venue which was kind of new to us, but we really liked the whole 'experience'. We ate dinner, grabbed dessert and then finished off the evening with champagne out front. We will definitely be back again with another couple!! read more

What a beautiful place to spend a Saturday! We biked here from Loveland. We started at Loveland Bike Rental and biked the 12 miles to the winery. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. There were about 15 picnic tables set up outside with umbrellas. We decided to get a flight of wine to sample the dry/medium wines. We assumed the samples would be small, so we ordered two...but NO. They filled the sample glasses to the brim! We probably would have been fine with sharing one, especially since we had to bike back, but somehow we made it through! We really enjoyed everything we sampled. We also got a meat and cheese board. I'd give that a 3/5. There was one type of meat and 3 cheeses that looked like what you buy from the pre-packaged cheeses at Kroger. It had a warm baguette and some crackers. Filling and tasted good, but nothing crazy. We also ordered a pizza (one they recommended) and it was delicious. So sorry I can't remember which one it was! But it as more than enough for two and an excellent lunch to accompany our wine. Overall, I thought this was a really special place and we definitely plan on going back. read more

While traveling, I had the pleasure of stopping here on Saturday, November 14, 2015 in search of some Ohio wine. While waiting in line, I had the opportunity to observe the operation and that in itself was a real treat. Rather than feeling like a busy restaurant/wine bar, it felt like a party of friends. The staff were friendly and informative and I overhead several funny exchanges between patron and 'pourer'. People in line were happy and very chatty with each other, and with me. The wine display was lovely and informative, which helped me decide which wine to buy. I opted to buy a wonderful blackberry wine and some of their craft beer, selections with which I am very pleased. The restaurant features 'cook it yourself' entrees of meat and fish and I watched diners walk to and from the outdoor grills where they chatted with each other as they cooked their food to taste. Accompaniments were arranged buffet style and looked delicious. I'm looking forward to a future stop when I return to the area. read more

Great service and the place is very cute. Tried both the wines and beers. The beer flight is big on the portions and the wines were "healthy" pours but I didn't care for the wines. We visited another local winery the day before and preferred their wines to Valley Vineyards. I gave them the 4 stars because of the service though. Very friendly! read more

stopped for lunch with friends on bike excursion. had a pretzel and chicken wrap - just averge. beer was not real cold and IPAs were not good. shurpies could have had some real fruit in them for the $10. Place and staff are nice but it could be a great stop with some work - too bad as there is nothing that stands out in Morrow. I won't be back. read more

If I could give this place a 0/5 stars I would. The service and how they treat paying customers was unimaginable. They had no care in the world as long as they were getting paid. I, along with the group that I went with, felt very disrespected by the employees here. They were not accommodating whatsoever for people having special dietary requirements. If you don't eat meat or fish, expect to still pay full price. And if you are unable to drink, expect to still pay full price. However they do not ID, they use the "honesty policy" (which is illegal). Basically anyone can go in and say they are 21. If you don't provide an ID (which they will not ask for one) they claim that you are either kicked out, or you pay the $32.50 to drink. They will not make accommodations for you whether your pregnant and just want to go there for the food and a good time with your girlfriends, whether you're vegetarian and just would like to have a few glasses of wine, etc. They consider these to be excuses and you will get no where with them. They claim they hear "silly excuses all the time". Their policies are not listed online and when I made reservations I was not informed about any of these policies. If these are the policies and guidelines they follow then it should be listed somewhere on their website or it should at least be brought up. All in all, I can honestly say I will NOT be going back, ever. And I know of quite a few others who feel the same way. After being disrespected and talked down to by not only employees, but family of the owners. read more

We had a wonderful experience at Valley Vineyards on Saturday night for the cookout. This is a delicious and fun experience at a reasonable price. I love that they offer 4 drinks (wine or beer) or 1 bottle of wine with dinner. Very nice selection of beer and wine. Be sure to make reservations early as I called the same day and they only had one left! they were also very accommodating when we arrived early for our reservation. We will definitely be returning regularly. read more

Wine and beer flight portions are quite generous BUT the service was very very poor. We waited several minutes to be greeted or acknowledged. Once we were served our flights very little information about the wine was given and no one checked back with us. Employees were talking among themselves and didn't seem to care that they had paying customers. Wines themselves were not all that great either. All in all will NOT be going back!!!! read more

Attended their wine and beer festival. For about a half an hour. It was a fiasco. They did NOT plan for a festival. 5 portable toilets and two portable "sinks" were made available for a crowd of several hundred people. At a beer and wine festival. Where people will probably have to go to the bathroom. A lot. The people in line ahead of me were actually avoiding using certain portable toilets because they were "full". Gross! They also advertised tethered balloon rides at 7pm but at 6:30pm there was no sign of a hot air balloon being set up anywhere. Almost all of the staff I saw were busy selling tickets. The place was total chaos. We wandered around for about 15 minutes looking for restrooms. I saw many people "working" but no one helped us. There were no signs except NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. No wayfinding system whatsoever. Indoor dining looked like a cheap cafeteria, outdoor dining was loud and close to the street and full of rude drunk people. There were food vendors and stations for beer and wine tastings... And pretty much nothing else. I was so disappointed (and taken aback by the chaos) my husband and I left in search of real restrooms. We won't be back. read more

Went for a tasting with a couple of friends this past weekend, and it was a wonderful experience. We got both trays of wines to sample, and while not all were to our individual tastes, those that were were really fantastic. We especially took to the champagne! The service was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was lovely, and overall it was a deeply enjoyable experience. We were making up plans to come back again while we were still working our way through the wine- and let me tell you, each tray is $8, and if you get both, it's enough to make you light headed if there are only three of you. There's plenty for a good taste of each wine. read more

What a great place to enjoy yourself year round. The weekend cookouts are the best; the food atmosphere, and wine earn this a five star rating! Also, make sure to check out Thursday night lite far and live music; a great way to start winding down a long work week. As we walk in and stood there for about 4 min and no one greeted us and finally someone asked what they could do for us. We said we have never been here before and seen tasting he pulled out a menu and said these are 2 tasting. We told him which one we wanted and he got the samples and said $10 Rudely and didn't explain where to start. Took our money and didn't tell us were we could sit and made us caring the whole tray which I almost spilled. No one ever came to see how we were doing. We will never stop here again. No personable people. We would like to know a little about the history of the winery but nope. read more

I took my husband to the "Twilight Canoe and Dinner For Two" - which included a three-mile cruise down the Little Miami and shuttle to Valley Vineyards for Wine and Dinner for his birthday last night! We really enjoyed the hour on the river despite the low water - we made it a fun adventure and the Morgan's were great tour guides! Then we tasted a couple of fabulous wines at the Vineyard and made our selection for dinner wine. We grilled our own steaks; piled on all the side dishes made in the kitchen by "JOE" and everything was beyond words great! The sweet corn out of the field was my *favorite*. The "Soul Pushers" band was full of great talent - we loved it! We are looking forward to doing this again as there are no better families than the Schusters and the Morgan's! I've never had an unpleasant experience at VV. They hosted our engagement party of 50+ and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. "It's Just Wine, Beer, and Music" on Thursday nights is a favorite of ours... we get to drink some of our favorite beers and have some tasty pizza without the crowd of the grill out nights. I am still in disbelief at how my friends and I were treated last night at this establishment. I have never in my life been talked to the way I was at Valley Vineyards. We took our friend here for her bachelorette party, which is supposed to be a fun occasion. They knew this was for a bachelorette party. The minute we walked in, the woman checking everyone in didn't give a welcome, just a rude "That'll be $32.50". Extremely unfriendly for welcoming staff. We went through the line of friends paying this and we had one of our pregnant friends with us, who is also vegetarian. She asked if she could just pay what those under the age of 21 pay and she was borderline yelled at and it was rudely explained to her that it doesn't matter if she's not eating or drinking anything, that to sit at a picnic table in the back room she had to pay $32.50 regardless. Naturally we thought asking the manager her opinion would help us a little in this situation. All we needed were a few nonalcoholic beverages for our friend, which at a normal restaurant would cost maybe $2.00 a drink. We were rudely told by the manager that this was a "rule" and that her being pregnant was a "silly" excuse, when she is clearly several months pregnant. All it would have taken was them telling us nicely why they couldn't meet our request. Everyone was so rude to us at this point that we turned in our dinner tickets and left. We tried to get a full refund, as we did not eat or drink anything there, however they stated that there was no way we were getting any refund after the experience we had. Save your money and time and go anywhere else but this place. You will just be disappointed and treated terribly. I wish I could rate this 0/5 stars. read more
