With the warmer weather comes the infestation of bugs and other unwanteds that like us people, want to escape the heat and head for hydration. When we saw our neighbors getting their home treated, we know the inevitable result. The insects will move from their home to ours, and its just a matter of days before my wife is calling me away from whatever I may do doing at the time, to 'get rid of that thing'! So as David (presumably the owner) was leaving our neighbor's, I summoned him to take a look at our home and yard and give me a figure on how much it would be to get our home treated. I know that with any of the big brand pest services we see all the time in our neighborhood, that would have required a call to their office (or call center) and a prolonged pitch about how we need to be on a contract to have service every month or so. I was in the middle of a big remodel project, it was another 95 plus degree day here in Vegas, and I just wasn't up for that. David was truly a sight for sore eyes. He was kind enough to immediately provide a fair and reasonable quote, and rather than schedule service days down the line, David picked up the tools of his trade and made tracks to take care of the problem, THAT DAY. The cost was fair, the service was great and David is an awesome nice guy. A bit of a salesman with a gregarious and friendly personality, but not at all pushy. He. like the big-boys, did 'recommend' reoccuring service but made it abundantly clear that was not necessary and no contract (as the majors almost always require) was necessary to get service immediately. He politely asked permission to contact us in a couple of months, but that was the extent of any form of aggressive salesmanship. I respect him trying to build repeat business, recognized a need for ongoing support and agreed to future follow-up contacts from his company. Hopefully this helps you. Dan from Valley View Pest Control first came to my house about a year ago, when I started seeing bugs in my house. He and Julie give great customer service, are proactive about knowing what the houses around me are seeing in terms of pest and treating my house accordingly even if I haven't seen those pests outside yet. Which I almost never do, since the treatments have been effective. Dan even gave my husband recommendations on how to treat a pest problem he encountered while working out of state. Dan and Julie are awesome. I have sensitivity to strong chemicals and a lot of wild quail in my yard, so Dan uses an organic option for me and he only sprays outside. I never get any kind of critter inside the house. If I ever have an issue, Dan or Julie are right on it. My aunt told me about Valley View Pest control and I am so glad she did. Based on the good reviews, I would have considered using this company, however after my experience with one of their drivers on the 15 N this morning, NEVER! This jerk was cutting people off, including myself and pumping the brakes purposely after he cut me off cause I was too close. Maybe if you don't cut people off, they wouldn't be close to you. I'd never want this driver servicing my home with this behavior! read more

Beware of terrible customer service. Initial service call everything was great $100 and they did an in and out spray. Service was setup for bi monthly visits for $60. About 5 weeks in I started to see huge wolf spiders around the house and in the garage. I gave them a call to come out again and do a touch up. This is part of their free service, to come out if there are issues in between the scheduled services. Instead Julie the owner tells me she'll bump up my scheduled service a couple weeks and have the tech out within the week. This was my 1st disappointment. They tried to save them self a service call. The tech came out and changed some glue traps and was in and out. 10 mins tops. This is what the industry calls splash and dash. Didn't even attempt to go inside and spray. I talked to the driver as he's putting his stuff away. Instead of coming in to spray for my peace of mind he tries to talk me out of it and won't spray. The next schedule service came around and. the tech shows up. I have a video surveillance system around my property. He comes to the door and rings my video door bell. I missed the door bell notification on my phone. But was able to see the video play back later. I later get a text and email from Julie stating service was done and I owe $60. I check my stored videos and nothing was record during the time they said they were there. Why? Because no motion was detected around my home. Hmmmm????? Watch out for these people. They will rip you off if you're not home on your service date. read more
