It was the most epically relaxing way to spend an afternoon in mid August. Tom Potter hooked us up with paddleboards, life preservers, and the best picnic lunch ever. He gave us some lessons on paddle boarding and sent us off. Two hours (plenty of time!) later he picked us up at a pre-designated location. He picked us up in his truck, which the inside will blow you away... It's outfitted like a limousine inside. If you have an afternoon to spend in or around Leavenworth, this is the best bang for your buck.

He even took the time to drive to our cabin and pick us up everyday. Tom was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and also very fun and genuine. The type of person you feel like you've known for a while shortly after meeting them. I couldn't speak more highly of him or the experience he provided for us. If you're going to the Leavenworth area and looking to be set up for an incredible weekend, look no further. This guy does it all.

Used this to get from Snow Lakes Trailhead to Colchuck Lakes Trailhead…read more Well worth it! They were running a little behind, but got us there in 20 minutes. The road to the trailhead can be bumpy and their vans power through. Not to mention on an August Saturday, the parking at Colchuck Lake will be full by 430, so having someone drop you off is helpful. The drivers were friendly, fun and gave good tips on conditions and the hike. FYI - parking at the Snow Lakes lot at 450 on a Saturday was full and had to park on the road.

Location: Perfectly situated away from the noise of town yet close enough to walk but you're better off driving to the town Leavenworth which is approximately 5 minutes away. Accommodations: Perfect Bed and Breakfast place with only 7 guest rooms (all the rooms are upstairs but one). The rooms are very quiet, no noise from foot traffic in the lobby or hallways, or young uns. The room decorations are exactly as you see them on their website. Large comfortable bed with warm fluffy pillows and comforters. We were very fortunate to stay at two different rooms during our stay. The Almorosen and Dornroschen with both very different and unique feel. Waking up every morning standing on the balcony with fresh coffee overseeing the snow on the valley and nearby mountains was magical. Breakfast: How do I describe it other than seeing every photos posted does not do it justice. It was very German theme and man it was so delicious !! (not the standard hotel continental breakfast either). The staff and host was on point every day ready to serve your needs. After walking around town there's always late treats (cake, pastry or cookies) waiting for you in the kitchen to have with a variety of tea or coffee. They also have an area with a giant fireplace and piano you can relax. There are Christmas trees everywhere (bedroom, eating area, relaxing lobby and stairway leading upstairs) fully decorated with lights. Every thing about the decorations, food served was very European (German). Service: First class service everyday. If you needed privacy or room cleaned you got it, always fresh thick towels with a warm bathrobe waiting in closet. The proprietor (Hayley) I hope was her name was super friendly and gave a little history about Abendblume and the town of Leavenworth. Staff was very helpful as previously mentioned. By far this was THE BEST Bed and Breakfast Place we have ever stayed. Every attention to details (inside the building and outside) was well thought out with a German theme. Hayley suggested we come back during late spring when the valley is blooming with beautiful colorful flowers, which we are already planning to do. Thank you very much Hayley and your staff. Although the parking and entrance is in the alley and a little hard to find. I'd to call their office to find out the direction to the entrance. They were every helpful. The suite is very well equipped with quality stuff right from the utensils to the refrigerator; and everything was very clean. There was free wifi and internet TV with Netflix (subscription included) and a few other online services like Amazon, etc. (free/fee depended on what you wanted to watch). The staff was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again when we go to Leavenworth!

Building only has three Suites so it feels very private. Very modern with high ceilings and everything is new and super clean. Free parking, coffee and WiFi is always nice. Lona was so helpful with check-in, dinner and spa recommendations, trouble shooting and was very responsive by text, email and phone. I was a bit concerned that the Suite was directly above the very popular Icicle Brewery since my wife is a very light sleeper. The building was put together well. Noise was very minimal and non existent after they closed at the reasonable hour of 11 pm. Parking is a bit tight if 3 SUVs are there, but it's free and if you need more space there is a pay lot across the street. Also no elevators so packing bags up to the room is a bit of a workout, so pack light and hit the brewery after unpacking. I hesitate to write this review because I want to keep this gem for myself, but I had to share this wonderful place. We will be back very soon.

It cost us a little over $2k, which was a little more than we would've liked to have paid, but wasn't completely outrageous. We wanted a cabin on a fishable lake, so we knew we would have to pay a bit more for that. The check in process was super easy through the Airbnb app- we were given the door code to the main building, which had keys to the exterior unit. There was a gift bag with snacks waiting for us. The kitchen had everything that we would need- pots & pans, cookware, plates, cutlery, etc. There were a bunch of towels and extra blankets if we needed them (which we didn't- it was a warm weekend). Wifi was great & streaming a movie on the tv was very fast. The view from the cabin, dock, and hot tub- all just wow! My husband also loved that he could fish from the dock- and yes, we did catch some fish! Highly recommend.

Left within 24 hours due to safety and cleanliness concern…read more We ended up leaving this property early due to significant cleanliness and safety concerns and unfortunately did not feel comfortable staying. We had booked a 4 night stay but left before even a full 24 hours. Within the first two hours of arriving we found 7 large spiders inside the home. While I understand that one or two can happen in a natural setting this was excessive and created an environment that felt unsafe especially with a child present. My significant other had to spend that first hour checking beds and areas throughout the home just so we could attempt to settle in. In addition to that there were multiple cleanliness issues that should not have been missed. We found debris including dirt, qtips, a plastic cap, loose bolts and screws, and even popcorn kernels under a beanbag that had clearly not been moved during cleaning. These are not minor oversights and could have been dangerous for a young child. Because of this we lost trust in the overall condition of the home and made the decision to leave early and return home. The host did offer relocation to another property however at that point we were not comfortable moving into another home under the same management and prioritized returning to a space where we felt safe. While a refund was issued for unused nights, additional costs including the cleaning fee, service related fees, taxes, and commission based fees were not reimbursed. Given the condition of the property upon arrival, this was disappointing and did not feel appropriate. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this property to others expecting a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
