Our water had turned green due to a lot of metal in our pool and within 1 week our water was clear as glass! We brought samples in 3 times within a week to make sure we were doing everything correctly and they didn't mind testing over and over again! One star for their lack of communication, no schedule for service (so we're at the whim of theirs)…read morethat ended in them refusing all future service. I called to get our hot tub removed for disposal on June 10th, and said anytime after the 13th, and the best way to get it was on the left side of the house. Whoever I spoke to was pleasant. I didn't hear from them until mid June when they said they'd tried to call me multiple times- said they tried to get it but there was some water in it and couldn't access it from the driveway, even though I had told them to access it from the other side. I only had one missed call from them, and had no messages. I know my phone was working because I had calls from other people during that time. I apologized for the water as I didn't think of it, and gave them my work number since I don't have service when I'm at work. Later saw I had a missed call from them because I was at work-never got a call from my work phone (why else would I give my work number if not to call it?) And they left no voicemail. Called again the end of June to see when they'd get it, and they said 'next week' the week of June 29th. Never got a call and never saw them. The pool was covered with a tarp the whole week, but we left for vacation that weekend. On vacation saw a missed call and voicemail that they'd pick it up that Tuesday the 8th, only to get back home and it was still there-because the tarp had come undone on a corner and there was some more water in it (maybe a gallon?) Left another message the week of July 14th explaining and asking for an update. Never got a call. Had my husband call on July 26 (a month and a half later from the first call) which they told him they were refusing any future service because of my lack of communication and unreturned messages. They also said they knocked for 7 minutes on the door at 7am with the dogs barking and a car in the driveway-which must've been when we were on VACATION-and the house sitters car. Why wouldn't you call at that point? Or if no one comes to the door with the dogs barking maybe assume we're not home-and give us a call?

After much research and reaching out to companies Blue pool crew company got back to me ASAP. Answered all my questions and came by my home while we were home I found out for new homeowner pool companies at times don't do that.Mark the owner came by checked my pool out and turns out other company that supposedly opened our pool really didn't. Our cartridge filters were not in our filter and our jets were not installed. Mark showed me how to do this as well set my filter to clean my pool. He came by the next and cleaned the pool. Zero Stars! Blue Crew is totally undependable and have put my health at risk…read more Blue Crew Crews was supposed to open my pool several weeks ago. They never made the first scheduled date on April 28th. Blue Crew texted me to say they could not open my pool until the following week. That night I was rushed by ambulance to Albany Med, got out on Monday with doctors orders to not "do ANY heavy lifting". So. getting my pool open now became a serious health issue, it merely a convenience. I texted Blue Crew back when I was home from Albany Med to say that probably be better for my health if they opened the end of May, before Memorial Day. They called me to coordinate an opening date. When I asked if opening the Monday before M-Day was possible, I either was hung up on, or the call dropped. They texted me to say the call dropped, but never mentioned rescheduling. I asked them to text me back - they didn't. I texted again asking for an opening date - no reply back. I texted again - still no reply. I have always opened my pool every year. This was the first time I sought a service and Blue Crew BLEW IT! Under normal circumstances I would just be frustrated with Blew Crew, but I am furious that I now have a SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUE and have been abandoned by BLEW CREW. What they claim on their website as 'dependable service' is TOTALLY UNDEPENDABLE!
