Jeremy R. I never thought I would be the person to own a hot tub. So I started online doing a little research. I have all the same worries that everyone does reading this. What is this going to cost me in electric? What are the hidden fees? How much extra time and money will I be spending to keep the water clear? I checked out 3 local hot tub dealers including Allen Pools and Spa. It was evident from entering the shower they would be the ones getting my business. Allen Pools and Spa offer Hot Springs Hot Tubs. These tubs by far are the most superior hot tubs on the market. Period. If I can offer one piece of advise right now, its buy the quality product, it will eliminate your fears of owning a Hot Tub. My Sales Person Andy was extremely educated on the details of the Hot Tub. I received no pressure and in fact visited 3 times before I finally made the selection. He worked with my budget and gave me an offer I could not refuse. The show room is filled with almost every hot tub Hot Springs offers, some are even filled with water and operational. Scheduling my hot tub delivery was an easy email with a follow up phone call from the delivery crew. Hot tubs are heavy, but the delivery crew came up with a game plan and maneuvered it in to place with easy, literally. They gave me some tips and reviewed operations and answered all my questions, again with great knowledge. It has been 2 weeks since the Hot Springs hot tub has been up and running. IT. IS. AMAZING. My electric bill did not sky rocket, the water cleaning has been beyond simple and I haven't had to do much and the water still is crystal clear, and I know if a problem ever occurs Allen Pools and Spa is a phone call away. I'm going to enjoy the winter in Vermont a lot more with this hot tub. Do yourself a favor and just stop into one of the 3 locations and have a chat. You won't regret it. read more

we purchased our hot tub about 8 years ago. it has been one of the best purchases we have ever made. we use our tub at least twice a day. my wife and me were in a terrible auto accident and the tub provides great therapy. all of our grandchildren have learned basic swimming skills in the tub. there have been few issues with the tub over the years; however every time we have had a problem the crew at Allen have responded. no problem is too small for them to assist with. we shop primarily at the Williston store and Tim and his associates are always so knowledgeable and friendly. Tim knows my name and always asks how things are going? i always recommend Allen Pools to my friends as i believe in todays climate, service is a very important ingredient to making a purchase such as this. in closing, i want to say that there is nothing like sitting in a hot tub in a snow storm or watching the Milky Way go by as you relax. read more

My wife and I bought our Hotsprings Grandee in Sept 2008 from Allen Pools & Spas (Williston) after extensive research and trying out a number of different models. We're coming up on 9 years of ownership and couldn't be happier with our choice! Our interactions with the team at the Williston location has been nothing less than stellar and especially Kevin and Kim who were the two people who helped us initially with our decision. We've only had one issue with the Hotspring (at about year 5) and Kevin took care of everything for us. We've been using Silk Balance for a number of years and it's the easiest and best solution on the market if you can't upgrade to the salt based solutions. I use the hot tub almost daily and my kids use it every time they come home. We highly recommend Hotsprings but without exception recommend Allen Pools & Spas, especially the Williston team. read more

I have had some challenges getting my spa in good working condition and wish to update my previous review from 2 stars to 5. First of all they were very responsive to my issues and the fact that the wrong parts were sent frustrated me but wasn't their fault. Secondly, looking back, my biggest issue was maintaining water quality in such a way that didn't leave us itchy. There is so much conflicting information out there! Finally they had someone contact us, Andy Rhoades, who was a straight shooter when it comes to spa water chemistry. His information was counter intuitive but being nothing we had tried seemed to work we went with it. Thank you Andy, it worked and we use less chemicals than ever! read more

A year and a half ago I purchased a Big Green Egg from Allen Pools and Spas. My Egg is in need of some warranty replacement parts. But in order to summit a warranty claim, I needed an original receipt. I typically keep receipts for "major purchases", however I was not able to locate the one for the Egg. After contacting Allen Pools and Spas, David and Sierra took the time and necessary effort to go back in their archives to locate the necessary paperwork in order for me to submit the warranty claim. Mary was the one who helped me, and I really appreciated how she was conscious of price and trying to find me the most economical way to go when opening my pool. Also, when leaving, I realized that sometimes the buckets that chemicals come in can be nearly impossible to get into, so I asked her to help me open the bucket before I left. Both of us tried, and I was getting concerned because she had beautiful nails! She got the other person in the store to come out to the dock and show me how to do it. I've had my hot tub since 2011 and in the summer of 2013. I turned the breakers off with the tub full of water! My mistake but I've been dealing with the consequences ever since! I was about to give up! I called the owner and he, Kim and Matthew came to my rescue! At no charge Matthew came to my house three times and cleaned the tub! I also can't say enough good things about the staff in Williston, they are always so helpful. I am now back to being a happy spa owner and can't say enough about Allen Pools and Spas customer service!!! read more
