David Burton produced a superb design. Jeremiah and Sam busted their butts, through two very hot and humid weeks. They were always polite, never in the way, and highly meticulous. In my opinion, they are also highly skilled, operating excavators and other machinery expertly in tight and difficult terrain. Every time (and there were several) that I worried about a placement or a height or grade or whatever, Jeremiah stopped what he was doing, listened patiently, and then took whatever measure to allay my fears. He was kind, considerate, and responsive, as was Sam. It's fair to say that Distefano Landscaping overall did a superb job for us in every imaginable way. And the job came out right around the quoted price, even though there were some bumps (like buried stumps) along the road.

Everything was done exactly as proposed. These guys are the real deal! They installed a really nice interior drainage system with a pump system. It looks and works perfect! Final cost was within $100 of estimate. Scheduling was difficult this summer, but they altered their arrival time as requested so I could be at home. Arrived with all the needed equipment and labor, and finished the job in less than 3 hours. Andy is a magician with that C332. I had concrete pavers under steps sticking out into the driveway which Rox pointed out looked awful. Andy pulled the pavers out, broke one in half, replaced them under the steps, and finished the asphalt right up against the steps. Looks much better and I appreciated his attention to detail. They rolled the finished driveway top to bottom, let it sit a bit, then side to side. Driveway looks great, clean-up was quick, and they were off to the next job. Won't know about durability for a couple years, but off to a great start.

When I asked if he could send pictures of work done by another contractor at the site at the same time, he not only sent them, but he also went to the trouble of calling to explain the details. He also made an extra trip to the site to take care of minor cleanup that I couldn't do while I was away. I would be happy to hire Morning Dew again for a large or small job.

I sent out a barrage of emails to a number of companies that served our area and one response jump out. They responded to my inquiry within just a few hours and were able to get me scheduled for a inspection within a few weeks. I'm sure autumn is a very busy time and my guess is they had a tech coming to the area without a full docket for the day. They have a very clear process, prompt communication, and a very professional approach. On the right day I got a call from the tech that he would be on site within 30 minutes, which was well within the expected window. When he arrived we chatted a bit and, once he got suited up, he jumped into the work and wasn't hesitant to get in there, clear the cobwebs, check some items in our basement, etc., Very thorough and he was able to provide me a good status of my chimney, options for the wood burning insert I had asked about, and a clear, documented, process for how I can get there plus what to do to make sure this chimney will last another 150 years. I was impressed. They are a professional organization, serving a very large area, and not the least expensive option. But, that's not to say they wouldn't be the best value. The technician onsite was very knowledgeable but wasn't shy about contacting his team for further input. All signs of a healthy, stable, company. No pressure. No hard sell. No forced timelines. Employee from here nearly caused a massive accident today on my drive to work (9/24 8am). Cut off…read morethe car in front of me along with the 2 behind me so quick that they spilled items from the back of the work truck all over the road before taking off. We all slammed on our breaks to a complete stop. Car behind me had to come up on my side to avoid slamming into me. I've seen wrecks in front of this place before, I'm assuming this is how they happen. These people should not be out driving around let alone working on people's houses. I will make it a personal mission to dissuade anyone from doing business with these dangerous fools. The driver in question is lucky I was on the way to work, all I'm going to say.
