He willingly went under water several times, and refused to get out even with his lips quivering. The Aquadome in Lasalle was amazing. There are slides for kids of all ages, (Liam was obsessed with the one in the baby/toddler area), and a neat umbrella which was his second favourite spot. The room for the party was spacious, yet simple. You can buy bathing suits and floating devices at the front desk and there is also a snack bar with tables and chairs in a separate area away from the pool. We didn't try the food since the party had its own food, but it looked amazing. The family changing area was great- quite a few stalls, several changing tables for little ones and many bathrooms, all of which, were very clean. You can tell the garbages are changed frequently. I was told the separate male only changing room was larger than the family one, but I obviously didn't see the inside of it for myself. The life guards do their jobs well and ensure a safe environment. They have their seats but also stand at different points around the pool so there are several vantage points. We will definitely be going back.

I googled "things to do in Montreal" and this came up. The photos made it look like an indoor…read morebeach! There was lots of parking and this place is open very late as family swim ends at 8:45pm here! However, I think they could do better. The locker room had dirt and hair all over the floor and oddly enough there were no hooks next to the showers (unless you count the moldy benches but I didn't want to place my stuff there) Once we got into the pool, I immediately noticed that the pool floor was slimy and grimy. I've never felt that before and figured it was chlorine maybe? When I got home and googled it .. it turned out to be algae and a sign that the pool is poorly maintained. They have 3 slides, the large main one was broken and the 2 small ones were open. So, I asked the lifeguard if I could put my 3 year old son on it and she said sure just catch him since he can't swim. I went to catch him as he came down the slide and he went so fast it felt like a blow to my chest. You'd think the lifeguard could have warned me how painful it would be to catch a small child off of one of these slides! The complex that this place is in seems interesting. They have a badminton room and indoor rock climbing. I might come here to check out more activities but no more Aquadome for me! Also, I went off hours, pretty late on a weeknight, and the place was still pretty crowded. I can only imagine how hectic it gets on weekends. Way too many people. I saw several employees just walking around (not even lifeguards) and I think they should have been testing the water quality, mopping the floors, and cleaning the pool. Things that clearly needed to be done but weren't.

Folks, Todd Bessery and his crowd will disappoint you in you're looking to invest in a pool. I've…read moreattached photos, they are hiring unskilled laborers and passing them off as professionals in the field. My installer Jeremey (he's out Rutland and you should wonder why Todd is drawing help from so far away) neglected to make a check list of the pipes and wires that are to go into the pit that plumbs the pool to the equipment that runs it. He then instructed me to have our electrician bury the grounding wire to the pool which prevents electrocution because he forgot to put it in the pit. He was fine suggesting we pay our electrician 175.00/hr to dig ditches where he collected the money to be responsible for this. They recessed the pool in our yard. The overestimated the pit measurements because they don't understand grading or water away concepts so rain and mud doesn't slide into the pool. Our surrounding grounds that sit much higher than the pool. They told us this was our fault that we didn't tell them to set the pool higher. We aren't landscapers, we're paying 55K for a professional installation and they blamed us for their incompetencies. Additionally, they told us that we were responsible for renting, transporting, and operating a large excavator to fix the surrounding grounds because we wanted the pool recessed to be a mud pit. We're suing them, and want everyone to understand the perils of hiring these people to perform these expensive duties. We fired Leisure World from the job, we became aware that the automatic cover people they work with were also cheating us on an ever-increasing priced cover, which would never work on our pool because Jeremey of Leisure World didn't estimate the correct blueprint of ledge removal which wouldn't have allowed the motor to the cover to be set. They tried to muscle us to take a 20K cover that we found out from their supplier wouldn't work on our pool, and we successfully argued that with the help of a chargeback and the VT Attorney General's Office. We had Pool World (please call them, they're a local and responsible, skilled outlet for any pool needs) come out and help us fix all the issues that were wrong with the pool. Please also know that we had to completely redesign our yard to an additional expense of 21K, installing retaining walls to keep the mud out of the pool, reworking slopes, etc. This was never what we wanted for this space, but because of their incompetence, we're now locked into this new, more difficult to negotiate yard. Buyer beware. You aren't saving any money when you end up having to redesign your grounds, or when you have your pool cracked and fail a couple years in. Photos of their mistakes appear in Google Reviews for this job. Please take the time and do your homework. Learn from my mistakes.
