When the work was done 60 minutes later, I was charged more than 4 times what I'd expected. NEVER AGAIN. ZOOM forward to 2026 and I learned of the NEW Freedom Propane, bought by a larger family-owned business. Well, it's a WORLD of difference. I needed to change a cut line from a gas stove to instead extend it to a portable generator spot, add a quick-connect valve and hose. Tom visited, gave me a quote on the job and clearly explained the basis for the quote. NO SURPRISES, unlike the 2022 experience. I agreed to the quote and Cory came the following week. He explained clearly what he'd be doing, worked efficiently, retested ALL the lines. The work was done cleanly, the plantings near the house were worked around, and both Tom and Cory were friendly and well-mannered. Tom & Cory completely renewed my faith in Freedom Propane. In addition I was without propane to cook for two days , I suggested a simple pony bottle and was promised delivery the next day. It never happened. I called Combined Energy and asked for a credit of 25 dollars for my ruined dinner. They said they would not issue a credit. It was a take or leave it approach . Not the best way to introduce itself.
