Came across Valley keto at the uptown farmers market. What's it out was the creativity and the density of each menu item. We had a mini donuts, surprisingly healthy with no added sugar, but still satisfied my appetite for something sweet. Great customer service. You can order ahead as well for pick up at the farmers market as their primary location is in surprise

This health-focused bakery is perfect for those on keto or restricted diets, offering diabetic-friendly breads, pastas, cookies, and other gluten- and sugar-free items. Many of their products are also low in sodium, making them great for people with salt restricted diets. I went in to grab a sugar-free pie as a gift for a family member. I could not resist buying some cheese bagels for myself along with sugar-free honey and maple syrup to sample. While the food and bakery selection are limited and prices are on the higher side, the quality and taste of their products make it worth shopping here.

This spot is the only Keto spot I know of on the west side. I have saw them at the farmers market and decided to visit the store. It's located in Surprise and easy to find. Service wasn't overly friendly but was quick in getting me checked out and the store was small but clean! They have cookies, scones, muffins, bagels, rolls etc all low carb. This time I bought 1 pack of everything bagels and 1 pack of hatch chili cheddar bagels. Each comes with 4 bagels at a price of $12 each. I spent $24 on 8 bagels. Now, the bagels were more like a muffin and dense as most Keto bakery items. I felt they were super greasy but satisfied my bread craving. I would definitely love to try their sweets and other items so I'll stop in again to report back on the cookies, muffins and whatever else looks good at the time! Lol

An amazing healthy bakery for those following the keto lifestyle way of eating, or for those that want clean foods. They also have dinner entrees! It's so nice to be able to be able to go back to a bakery without guilt and everything is an option! I buy the pie many times, have one slice per night, and it's keeping me on track. The scones are excellent; so flavorful and perfect with coffee. Quality keto foods, and friendly staff. Love this place!

We have been on Keto since may and were excited to find this Keto bakery. We went and ordered several things. I especially like the key lime cupcake and lemon ricotta bars. All were decent! Even the brownies were good. The place is pricy but good

I really wanted to love this place. I was so excited when I found out everything there is gluten free. I stopped by with my sister for an after school treat, not realizing they close at 4pm. We got there at 3:59pm and the cashier said it was okay to buy something. There is nowhere to sit or anything and we pictured it would be a cute shop with at least a few tables and chairs to sit and eat your treat. We were not happy with the fact that you have to buy everything in bunches, for example you have to get a four pack of brownies- you can't get just one or two to try. We ended up deciding on the two pack of chocolate chip cheesecakes (cupcakes) - we were both shocked when they said $16! $16 for two cupcakes? We were already there and it was closing time, so I still went for it. It's truly a bummer that the few fully gluten free places available are always so, so overpriced. As someone who understands GF ingredients can be pricey, I know they have to make a profit, but that still seems super expensive for what you get and it makes it not worth it. We took the cheesecakes and went on our way. First thing we noticed is the cheesecakes were hard and cold. Another very typical thing about this place is that 90% of their items are pre-packaged and cooled. I am never someone who thinks pastries are too sweet and this was hard to get through. 50% of the cheesecake is the frosting that seems to be cream cheese in the consistency of whipped cream. My sister ate half of hers and said she couldn't have more cream cheese, I ate the whole thing and am now sitting here with a bit of a stomach ache. The actual cake part was pretty good! Not $16 good, but good haha. I don't think I would give this place another try. Most things are pre-packaged and it is super overpriced.

Gluten free, sugar free, grain free loaf of bread.

They have a large selection of cookies, cakes, and even premade dinners that you can take home and bake yourself, which I thought was a great idea for a convenient meal. There is seating tables inside and outside, and the customer service was good but very much a classic New York-style experience. We ordered an eggplant Parmesan sandwich and a chicken Parmesan sandwich. The bread was good. For dessert, I tried a chocolate cannoli, which unfortunately wasn't to my taste, and a wedding cookie, which was light and fluffy but just okay. I also bought several other cookies, but most of them had a flavor that reminded me of the glass display case they were stored in. the cookies just didn't taste very good to me. I also ordered an iced latte, and the total for everything came to about $30, which I thought was a good value considering we had two sandwiches, desserts, and a drink.

In fact, I've made the hour-plus drive each way more than a dozen times just to visit. Whenever I find myself anywhere in the West Valley, this place is a mandatory stop. I've taken countless photos of my visits because there is always something new to see, taste, or admire. Under its new ownership, New York West Bakery has evolved into a wonderfully unique fusion-style café. The menu is delightfully unexpected, featuring everything from traditional breakfast favorites and homemade tamales to incredible Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches. If I can dig up some of my photos, I'll add them because these sandwiches deserve their own spotlight. The transformation isn't limited to the menu. The Interior: Spotlessly clean. During one recent visit, I watched an energetic staff member carefully mopping the floors and making sure everything looked perfect. It's obvious they take pride in the place. The Exterior: They've added a charming outdoor patio complete with colorful umbrellas, comfortable seating, and newly planted trees that will provide even more shade as they grow. It's a fantastic addition and makes for a relaxing place to enjoy a pastry and coffee. The Food: Where This Place Really Shines When New York West Bakery gets it right, they absolutely knock it out of the park. Their fruit tarts are hands-down some of the best I've had in years. They're fresh, beautiful, bursting with flavor, and surprisingly affordable for the quality you're getting. Best of all, everything is made from scratch, which shows in every bite. The newer savory menu items are also a huge win. Their Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches deliver serious value. They're enormous. Honestly, one sandwich is big enough to share and still leave you feeling satisfied... or at least leave just enough room for dessert. And speaking of dessert, I have to mention those fruit tarts one more time. They're that good. My wife Lucy absolutely loves them. In fact, "love" might be an understatement. If fruit tarts had a fan club, she'd probably be the president. New York West Bakery continues to grow and evolve, and it's exciting to watch. Between the friendly atmosphere, expanding menu, beautiful patio, and from scratch-made baked goods, it's become one of my favorite hidden gems in the Valley.

You can feel that purpose woven into everything they do. We tried one of their themed drink flights (the Sweet Heart menu was adorable -- Love Potion, Love Struck, To The Moon & Back... so cute). The presentation in the little mason jars was fun and picture-worthy. Flavor-wise, they leaned sweeter than my personal preference, but still enjoyable and perfect if you love flavored lattes. They offer plenty of milk options, including non-dairy, which I appreciate. Bakery - vegan and gluten-free options clearly labeled. I grabbed the lemon scone (vegan + GF). It was good! I'm personally more of a vegan-but-not-gluten-free girl, so texture-wise it's not something I'd specifically crave again -- but I absolutely appreciate that they create inclusive options. My friend had the cinnamon roll and was happy. They also have a small retail section with mugs, shirts, local honey, and little gift items, which adds to the community feel. Overall, this isn't a hyper-trendy, third-wave coffee aesthetic spot -- it's something better. It's purpose-driven, inclusive, and clearly loved by the neighborhood. Not a five-star flavor experience for me personally, but an easy four stars for what they stand for and the impact they're making.
