She was kind, compassionate, caring, and understanding. I explained, I was having severe issues and was very anxious, however the Dr was booking out into June so I made an appointment and asked her if anything came up earlier, to please reach out, she also told me to feel free to call back to see if there were any cancellations. I decided to check back and when I called, I asked if Bailey was available and had the pleasure of speaking with Megan. What are the chances now days to contact a Dr.'s office and find not one exceptional employee but two? Megan was absolutely amazing just as Bailey was. I explained I was just following up to see if there were any cancellations. Megan was so kind and explained unfortunately there were not but they would be on the lookout and make sure they reach out...just as I was about to hang up, Bailey and Megan had worked something out and I was thankfully able to get in two days later. To say it was a blessing was a understatement. Every single employee I met at this office was impressive, and I mean every single one. Because of the Dr's busy schedule, I had no problem waiting as long as I need to. But was so pleasantly surprised that basically Dr Heiland was right on time. That's all I can say is this, I have NEVER been more impressed with a medical professional than I was with Dr. Heiland. Unfortunately, I have had my share of ENT issues and had sinus surgery back in Minnesota. I dealt with too many ENT Dr.'s to count both in Minnesota and here in Arizona, and there is NO ENT Dr.like Dr. Heiland! He has a magnificent bedside manner, immediately put me at ease. He took the time to ask questions about my symptoms, did not rush me through, explained things in depth to me. Asked if I had any questions and as professional as he was, he had a fabulous sense of humor that made my anxiety completely diminish. What I have found in the past, the ENT Drs, want this this test and that, he asked the right questions so that all those unnecessary tests did not have to be done. I have the utmost confidence and trust that if he needed to do a MRI or additional scans he certainly would have. The difference between Dr. Heiland and the others, is he is very in-tuned to his patients, knows the right questions to ask, silly as it seems some Dr.'s would rather take a 5 minute look at a patient's chart, give them an rx for meds, have tests done so they don't have to take the quality time with their patients as this incredible medical professional did. I worked in Medical Sales, between my ENT experience with MD's and my experience working in the medical sales field, I will and can say he is truly the best of the best. No pompous attitude, very approachable, very kind and even discussed supplements to help with my issues. Between, his absolutely amazing staff and the experience I had with Dr. Heiland, Trust me when I say there is no one else I would rather go to nor will I ever leave this practice! Do yourself a favor, IF you care about your health as much as I do, and want to be treated with respect and kindness, there is NO OTHER practice like this one! Had nasal polyps (seriously bad case) and a deviated septum in-out surgery performed by Dr. Weiner…read more I was naturally a tad nervous not knowing what to expect. Dr Weiner picked up my nervousness immediately and the first thing he did was cracked a pretty funny joke, which immediately took the tension off. It was perfect! The surgery was completed in no-time, a few days for recovery and I can tell you wonderful it is to actually breathe through both nostrils at the same time and to have a better sense of smell again. Very pleased with the outcome. You never feel Dr Weiner is rushing things during office visits. He is completely present for you and your questions. He is just a pleasant doctor and good-hearted person to talk to. He cares.

I have to write this because I had an unpleasant experience few months ago…read more My right ear was hurting from flying Paris-Phoenix in mid July and as soon as I landed in phoenix I called the office to make an appointment. I didn't get to see Dr. Weiner until mid August, you know how it is that you can't get in right away. By the time I went to see Dr. Weiner, my ear was already fine. He checked my both ears anyway and he said that my right ear had wax, so he did the cerumen removal. Everything went well, so I was happy with the service. Prior to the cerumen removal, I was ordered to get hearing test. I told the hearing lady that my hearing was fine and I didn't need a hearing test, but she insisted and made me to sign the paperwork. I asked her multiple times that the insurance will cover for the test and she said yes! On the following month I received bill from this office with amount of $120.45. I called the billing company and she said yes I had to pay that amount after insurance deductible. In the statement description also they charged me $221 for a new patient. I was like really! I wasn't new because I came to this office for wax removal before.Plus I never heard doctors will charge for the new patients, where was that come from. Dr. Weiner was a wonderful ENT, but unfortunately the management was very poor. So disappointing.

They do. Booked the appt. Found out 2 days before my Valley ENT appt that my insurance approved it after all, but I was already scheduled to see Dr. Kelsch @ Valley ENT so I kept the appt. I explained that I already had a scope and sinus ENT 2 weeks prior but they said they needed their own. Fine. But then when we were ready to discuss the 2 options, Dr. Kelsch left the room and returned with 1 pamphlet for each (not super helpful when you want to know deeper, and pros and cons). He stood in the doorway, one foot and his body halfway out, and apparently my appt was over with no oppty for education or Q&A. WTH? Fine, so I asked the out-nurse about the procedures. She looked at me funny. I told her I didn't get education or Q&A from Dr. Kelsch and she said that was very strange. Ok, sounds he normally does, but did not for me. A few days later I left a VM asking for websites Dr. Kelsch recommended for self-education, and an oppty for a phone call Q&A with him. No reply. Fine, maybe VM not working. CALLED AGAIN, talked to a medical assistant, explained what I needed. Three weeks later, STILL NO REPLY. Fine, I'm already approved at the other ENT so I'M GOING BACK THERE. I think I've given AZ Valley ENT the benefit of the doubt enough times. I initially chose to call them since the reviews were good on my insurer's portal but seeing the reviews here, I realize that I should have also checked Google reviews. Luckily my wife saw a commercial for Sound Relief and thought I should look into them. Best decision I've made. I first called and spoke with Michelle. She did a wonderful job of listening to my issues and understanding my frustrations and concerns. She thought I would be a very good candidate and I made an appointment. When I showed up, it was a very welcoming environment and I met Michelle, who was extremely nice and made me feel at home. We discussed briefly what was going to transpire during my visit. Dr. Wickey came out and took me back to her office and she went through a great presentation about Tinnitus and their approach to reducing the effects of it. After that I went through the best and most detailed hearing test, that I have ever had. Dr. Wickey was able to map the exact sound, frequency and volume of my tinnitus which she later programmed into my hearing devices. I hadn't realized how bad my hearing had become. Dr. Wickey showed me different options I had for getting some hearing devices that also had the sound therapy for my Tinnitus built in. My insurance would cover a lot of the cost, but I told her I would need to discuss the purchase with my wife. She understood and gave me a set of hearing aids on loan so I could experience them while I made my decision. I was very surprised by that and extremely grateful. After discussing the options with my wife, I decided to purchase the Premium hearing devices. I came to the decision knowing that I would use these basically every waking hour for the next 3-5 years or longer. This was another great decision. The technology is mind blowing. The amount of control over what I hear in my environment is astounding. I hadn't realized how much I wasn't hearing. My Tinnitus effects have decreased significantly and will get even better over time. Going to Sound Relief has changed my outlook for my auditory future. Right now I'm in the stage where my throat is numb from the numbing medicine causing strange, swallowing, but swallowing fine nonetheless. Day 2: In addition to getting Afrin and sinus rinse, be SURE to get popsicles! Popsicles are lifesaver for the throat the first couple of days!!! Today my sinuses are kind of swollen so it's hard to breathe through my sinuses, but I was expecting that. Day 3: just woke up to take some Tylenol and I am not in pain, but the biggest news for me is that I can breathe through both sides of my sinuses, and the majority of the swelling is gone!!! Forgot to take the steroids this morning and my other antibiotics so I'm a little stuffy today, but still feeling really good !!! Day 8: Every day is a little bit better than the day before, and I am sounding less "sinusy". Just did my evening, sinus rinse and had quite a bit of debris come out of my left sinus cavity under my cheekbone. It feels crazy because a lot of the pressure that I was feeling in my teeth seems to be subsiding.

Cheryl MacKechnie really put me in a bad way. I only had two small nodules on my thyroid, non…read morecancerous. She removed my whole thyroid and also, without my knowledge removed all of my parathyroids. I was released from the hospital with no meds, no instructions. and no knowledge that she had removed my parathyroid. She was pregnant and ready to deliver, I think it was her last ditch effort to make a final buck before she went on maternity leave. I went home and procceeded to have a huge problem, I had to call 911 as I was not aware of needing any meds. I was never told that I would need ( for the rest of my life) to take medications, and not being aware that she removed my parathyroids, I had no idea that I could have gone into heart failure. I had several very bazar spells or episodes over the next several days and called 911 several times until I finally went to an endocrinologist whom them found that I was not on meds to substitute for the lack of my thyroid and did an ultrasound and found I had no parathyroid. Over the next several years, I have had many episodes that I thought I was dying. Not until this year did I find a doctor that resolved my situation. But I lost 10 years of life struggling with an unknown issue. Until this last year. I finally have my life back. I have to take several meds at four different times of the day just to stay alive. So, please stay as far away from this woman as possible. She almost killed me. Oh I forgot to mention, after the surgery for some reason, I can not longer sing. She obviously damaged my vocal chords. This is devistating for me as I am a musician.
