I already struggle with anxiety whenever I go to doctor's offices or unfamiliar places, so I tend to feel nervous during appointments. Unfortunately, the interaction with Sarah made those feelings worse. She spoke very quickly, which made it difficult for me to fully understand what she was saying, especially during moments when I was already feeling anxious. I believe she was also training another girl at the time. I ended up asking the other assistant to retake my blood pressure because I felt overwhelmed and anxious after interacting with Sarah. As a patient, I believe it's important to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for during medical visits. While Dr. Hunter herself was very nice, Sarah's approach made me feel uneasy and uncomfortable instead of reassured.
