The front desk was also very nice - Aisha is really the best. Over the years, with one kid who was born with craniofacial defects and another kid who has sleep issues and large tonsils, we've seen many ENTs. Dr. Wells is our favorite thus far and the office staff are similarly fantastic. Thank you to everyone at Head and Neck Associates of Orange County. PS - if you call and you stay on wait for a long time, just choose the call back option. I'm convinced their answering service won't pick up - you're better off getting yourself in the queue where the answering service will call you back (quite quickly actually) and connect you to the office.

Don't be fooled by how easy it is to get an appointment with this doctor. I was desperate to get my…read more18-month-old son seen and noticed he had immediate availability. After my experience, I understand why. At our first visit, very little was done other than scheduling a sleep study. That was fine, I understood my son was young and additional testing might be needed. However, between that appointment and the sleep study, we ended up in the ER because of concerns about his breathing during sleep. The ER physicians reviewed videos I had taken and advised me to follow up with the ENT the very next morning because the videos suggested a possible obstruction. I scheduled an urgent follow-up and brought multiple videos documenting exactly what we had been seeing at home. The doctor refused to watch them. Every concern I raised was immediately dismissed with, "He's sick." The problem with that explanation was that I had originally brought my son in before he was ever sick because these symptoms had already been occurring. The exam itself was upsetting to watch as a parent. My son was screaming while being restrained while a scope was performed ( 2 days later another ent did the same not a tear no restraints needed ) The dr offered very little explanation, put him on his 5th round of antibiotics and a steroid and left the room. What bothered me most was not the medical decisions, it was the complete lack of compassion, curiosity, and willingness to listen. I came in with videos, ER recommendations, and genuine concerns about my child's breathing. Instead of feeling supported, I felt dismissed, unheard, and left the appointment in tears. As a parent, there are few things more frightening than worrying about your child's ability to breathe. I left this office feeling like my concerns were treated as an inconvenience rather than something worthy of discussion. I would never return and would strongly encourage other parents to seek a provider who takes the time to listen.

You can genuinely tell they enjoy working there because they always greet you with a big smile. Everyone has been incredibly attentive, patient, and responsive to my calls, questions, and needs. I recently had carpal tunnel release and ulnar nerve transposition surgery performed by Dr. Roger Sohn. I was initially reluctant to undergo surgery because I had heard stories from others whose surgeries with different doctors had not gone well. Naturally, I was nervous. I'm so happy to say that my experience was completely different. My surgery went extremely well, and I could not be happier with the results. I experienced very minimal pain and, most importantly, no nerve numbness. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Roger Sohn and his PA, Theresa Ho. They have both been wonderful throughout this entire process, responsive, caring, and patient. They took the time to explain everything to me in detail, including the procedure and what to expect during my recovery. I never felt rushed or that my questions were unimportant. I highly recommend Dr. Roger Sohn and Theresa Ho, PA, without reservation. Because of the confidence and trust they have earned from me, I am now scheduled to have carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand, followed by surgery to repair two tears in my rotator cuff. Going into these next procedures, I have no doubts or concerns. I feel confident that I am in excellent hands and that these surgeries will be just as successful. Thank you, Dr. Sohn, Theresa, and the entire Orthocare Health staff, for taking such wonderful care of me! Ellie

The doctor is great but the scheduling and customer service is disappointing…read more I scheduled my annual physical back in June for mid September because I was planning to travel at the end of the year and wanted to make sure I had my annual exam done well in advance. However I received a call from the office saying that my appointment would be canceled because it had not yet been a full year since my last appointment. I called back and explained that my insurance does not have this restriction. I was then told that the actual reason was that the doctor would not be available on September 17. I understand that doctors' schedules can change, but I was disappointed that after scheduling this appointment months in advance and explained I would be out of town, I was offered only October 15 (which does not work) or November 2 as alternatives. Since the cancellation was due to the doctor's availability rather than anything on my end, I expected the office to make more of an effort to find an earlier appointment...
