My son is a college student in Arkadelphia. The oil and check engine light came on in his 2017…read moreMustang. Rather than drive it home to Texarkana, we had him take it to Gildner. They claimed the light wouldn't come on for them. They kept the car for a week. Every time he checked on it they said they would look at it again the next. After 5 days, he needed the car to come home for the holiday weekend. They have yet to diagnose the issue, offer any assistance, or perform the oil change we asked for. This was the first and last time we will have any dealing with this dealership. We are a family that trades cars often, but none of them will be coming from here.

My son dropped his Focus off for service with a bad battery. He asked for an estimate also on his…read moreAC. They wouldn't look at the AC without a 120 dollar diagnostic fee. They claimed it was because they would have charge it with freon first. 120 dollars for a freon charge! Further they charged him 200 dollars for the battery install! He accepted the battery install out of desperation and refused the AC diagnostic fee. Then he called me for help paying for the battery. I was floored hearing how much a simple battery install cost. After personally having installed multiple batteries myself and having a mechanic replace the battery in two of my cars in the last 6 months I've never paid this much. When I called to make arrangements to pay the bill I questioned the service manger about why it cost so much for the small battery he said it was 130 for the battery and 60 dollar install fee! 130 alone is a good 20-30 dollar over-price without a core exchange but to then tack on an additional 60 dollars for a 5-10 minute job! Common a battery install is probably one of the single easiest things to do on a car. Mechanics spend more time and charge less for labor on a oil change. The install price should have been included with the over-priced mediocre battery they used. To add insult to injury the service manager was rude and arrogant. He then lied and said he did diagnosed the AC for free and if I wanted him to take the battery out he would charge me 120 diagnostic fee for the AC. I called on the lie and asked him for the diagnosis of the AC without him charging the system with freon. He couldn't answer this and gave the excuse that Dodge charges over :300 for a battery. I paid the 200 dollars because my son needed the car for work and I was 4 hour drive away from doing it myself for 1/2 the cost. Sad that organisations like this take advantage of people when they have them "over a barrel". Instead of using an easy job like this to make a life-long customer. I told my son to never go back to Gildner Ford and reminded him of the last time we were there when I walked out when the salesman refused to give me the actual price of a used car and rather insisted on dealing in monthly payments. There are to many other places out here ready to deal straight, fairly, and with respect. I'd rather burn my money than give them another penny.

*******southwest auto in arkadelphia arkansas!!!***********…read more i am needing to sell my truck. my husband used it and drove over the road with it for about 6 months. i went to the dealership southwest auto in arkadelphia arkansas and talked to skyler in sales. he said the manager was off today and that the manager from ford dealership would be over to evalulate it. the manager drove my truck and came back and went to the service department with it. (i should never trust any salesman!!!!) i just had the truck in the shop the day before. i got an email that stated the health of the truck and it said that everything that is good working order is in green and that anything that needs attention will be in yellow or red. everything on the email is in green!!!!!! the truck had two recalls on it which of course the dealership is suppost to fix. service fixed one recall and the other one they are waiting on a repair solution for it. the one that they are waiting on has to do with the abs light staying on. which it is a recall!!!! my truck is in fantasitc shape other than the recall!!! the tires are almost new. there isn't anything wrong with the interior or exterior!!!! the miles that are on the truck is 119500 miles and it is a diesel!!!! that is nothing for a diesel truck. diesel trucks are made to take a lot of miles!!!!!!!!! this dealership and all dealerships are a joke!!!!! waist of time!!!!!!!! as a matter of fact i wont be buying any vehicles from southwest in arkadelphia or any dealership for that matter!! he drove the truck back to the service department and when i was leaving i went back to the service department to get my truck and the truck was parked in the back under the awing!!!! what the hell they couldn't drive it back up front where it was to begin with?!?!??!!?!?!?!?!? customer service at this dealership and quite frankly all dealerships have terrible service unless they know they are scewing you and you have no idea that they are. the offer on my truck was $27000 for my truck and i just talked to my bank and my bank said the truck is worth #43000 on the high end. if everything checked out and it has because i got the email that said everything on it was in good working order except for the recall!!!!!!!!!! i asked why cant i speak to the manager skylers reponse was he's busy. ahaahahahahahbhahahahaahahhahahahahahahahahaahahhahahahahaahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!! so much for that customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! skyler said you see how busy we are! i have been sitting there since before 9 oclock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! babbaahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!! their customer service sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Taylhor Avant was my entree to Cavenaugh Hyundai, and she is fabulous. She made a next-day…read moreappointment for my new-to-me Hyundai Tucson [purchased through Carvana and not through Cavenaugh, mind you]. Lucky for me, I bought a fleet vehicle, which is typically a wise move, and also invested in the extended warranty (something husband has done the last many vehicles and which pays off in spades). THREE recalls had not been done on my vehicle, the third being ABS fuse kit installation and software! I mean, I know I am a girl and all, but sheesh! Brakes seem kind of important! Also, the cabin as well as air filters were disgusting; I do not believe they had EV-ER been changed. I am a lifelong asthmatic, so I changed those out yesterday, at full-cost to me. I doubt Silver Rock (warranty company) will reimburse me. There were many things wrong, but none that were surprising. This car obviously comes from a fleet that is not maintained, not sent out for recalls or basic service. Perhaps they just run their horses hard and put them away wet, because my beautiful car has NEGLECT written all over her: Yes, those three recalls, which are being taken care of as I type; the cabin filter cover which was missing; the fuel cap, which is defective; a bad engine oil cooler; needs new spark plugs; and 4 rotors that were slapped together and sent out (so brakes are more than simply recall). I don't believe I have ever encountered a dealership like this one! Their list is extensive, comprehensive, and understandable. And everything they pointed to needs to be accomplished. The downside? They were not IN-NETWORK, and there should be a $350 deductible. Even so, $350 is far less than the $1,522 estimate for all these repairs! We shall see how this all falls out. Taylhor is now calling Silver Rock and Carvana on my behalf and getting all of this taken care of. What is good to know when buying from Carvana is that their MO is apparently to get a car in, detail it and send it out the door, then dealing with these issues after-the-fact. So glad I did things right and got the extended warranty; so extremely grateful for people like Taylhor who CARE and have the ability to put that caring into action. Holiday blessings to all here at Cavenaugh Hyundai!!

They are real friendly when they're trying to get you in a vehicle. As soon as you sign papers…read morethey're not so friendly. Apparently, a basic Dodge Journey was the only vehicle we could get. We couldn't get any other vehicle on any of the car lots... our other car had broke down so we were desperate for a vehicle. I have 3 kids so I couldn't go without a vehicle. I didn't care for the dodge journey, but I went ahead and got it and told them we would come trade it in for something better later. Got in the car to drive off and the heater was blowing cold. So the GM -Rob Green- said oh it needs water.. ok no big deal. Turns out the heater only blew hot on the driver side. The rear heat and air didn't work at all and the heat blew cold on the passenger side up front. The driver seat was broke so you couldn't move it up or back to your comfort. You had to drive the vehicle as the seat was. I am short so it was a challenge driving this car. The struts were bad and the window wouldn't roll up. They said they could fix all of that. My husband even asked Rob to order the parts and he'd fix it himself. He said he would but we never got any of the parts! Rob is all cool when he is selling you a vehicle but afterwards it's a hassle trying to get ahold of him. We bought this ride in September and to this day July 16th I have not received a call back from Rob. I call every week and leave a message and still no call. We didn't pay the payment when it was due and they call everyday, come to the house, and text and still couldn't get Rob to answer or call us back. It's been a complete nightmare! They came and repoed it today -July 16th- and once again I called the store and left a message for Rob early this afternoon and I still haven't gotten a call back. It's impossible to get anything fixed or talk to the GM and that's crappy customer service! I will never buy another vehicle from Car Mart because of this man here. I had to go buy a NEW ride so I could take my son to have surgery since I couldn't drive the Dodge Journey I bought from Car Mart! It's been sitting in my driveway for weeks waiting to get ahold of Rob to get it fixed. It's ridiculous and he needs to do better or get a different job!!!!
