I started initially giving him a 4-star rating but after reading this you will see why I dropped him down to 3 stars. I feel this was generous. He had a fast reply after I inquired about a mobile mechanic here last Monday. Stayed in contact but was forgetful even with text messages. Flexible hours. I paid for my parts ahead of visit. That was my decision. He offered to pick one up. He was very quick replacing the alternator and knowledgeable. After replacing alternator we discovered that we needed a new battery. He offered to pick it up. I chose to buy the battery online and then had it brought to the car for us (I'm under doctors orders to not lift anything over 5 pounds or else I would have done the entire repair). We agreed that he would return to replace the battery for me. I texted him telling him we received the battery and we are ready for him when he's done with a quick fix on the next all. Called this guy,made an appt for him to come out. Very personable, diagnosed problem quickly, had to order parts and was scheduled to come back in 2 days to install parts. That's been over a week ago, he never called on the day he was scheduled to return, no response to calls or messages. When he finally did respond it was just to give me the run around, the last excuse being that he was having a problem with the parts store, and it wasn't his fault. I just ordered the parts in less than 2 minutes and can pick them up this afternoon. I trusted them to be dependable and do what they said. They couldn't deliver as promised. Ultimately there were 3 different days where they were supposed to come and diagnose the problem, but the 3rd day was just a no-call, no-text, no-show.
