He took care of several of my cars over the years, always with a highly competitive price. He even let me bring in my own parts, which many shops won't do. Someone from the shop always drove me back to my office and picked me up when the car was ready. My only complaint has to do with some of the guys he hired. If Lawrence was personally on the job, you had no worries. A couple of times one of his guys missed something though. Under-tightening valve cover bolts resulting in oil leaks, leaving out nuts on the heat shield that produced an annoying rattle, little things like that. We got it fixed each time, but a bit more professionalism from the employees would be appreciated. Still, far and away better quality of service than any of the other garages I used in HS.

He went the extra mile and didn't charge me what the others would have. On top of it all, he gets to work early, keeps organized records, takes pride in his job, and is genuine with his customers. I wasn't at all surprised to see an award for honesty and integrity in his waiting room. They've got that right. I will never go anywhere else again.

I have a 125,000-mile extended warranty, yet I was charged and told the repair was not covered. I also brought up an oil leak and was told that wasn't covered either. What made the situation worse was the way Baron handled it. In my experience, he was extremely rude, dismissive, and showed very little concern about helping me understand why these issues supposedly weren't covered under the extended warranty I paid for. I don't expect every repair to automatically be covered, but I do expect a service advisor to treat customers with respect, clearly explain warranty decisions, and make an effort to help. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. After purchasing an extended warranty specifically to protect myself from expensive repairs, this experience has been very frustrating. I expected much better customer service from Everett GMC.
