Who would ever think to give something with a car dealer reputation five stars?!?!*…read moreMy lease was up on my Audi, and I had to choose another vehicle. We live in Memphis, and there weren't any year/model that I wanted here. Using Edmunds.com and Trucar.com I was led to a good match at Crain Kia of Conway. Sales rep Jay Bittle responded the same day to my email for information on the car I wanted. We emailed back and forth all week, and he convinced us to make the 2.5 hour drive in from Memphis on a Monday. The price was good, according to TruCar, but they knocked off about $150 for me after some goading. Jay was just so pleasant to be around, talked about church, and his wife, and had a #1 Dad mug on his desk... just pretty perfect without being cocky. We went back to the finance guy to pay, and he was also just delightful as all get out! The following day, Mr. Bittle emailed again to see if everything was alright with the car. I am still waiting on the sales papers almost 3 weeks later, but I know they'll come soon. *The only drawbacks were that the car wasn't totally clean when I test drove it, and when they "filled it up" for my drive home, they only put 3/4 of a tank of gas in the car. That 1/4 tank may have cost them my opinion! *make note, sales managers*

I gave Crain Kia of Conway every reasonable opportunity to resolve these issues privately before…read moreposting this review. I purchased an approximately $90,000 2024 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe from them and had it shipped to Kansas City. I worked with Tim, Sean and Russel during the transaction. The vehicle arrived with an empty gas tank, an undisclosed paint chip on the rear spoiler, no second key and the check-engine light already illuminated at the time of delivery. The vehicle then had to go directly to a Mercedes dealership for repairs. I also had difficulty getting information about the payoff on my trade after Wells Fargo continued contacting me about a payment. When I called Crain Kia, I spoke with Angel, who told me she did not know anything about the payoff and could not even provide the name of the manager who could help me. When I pressed for an answer or someone who could provide one, she told me I was being rude. The payoff was ultimately received, but the way the situation was handled was unnecessarily frustrating and unprofessional. Since the sale, I have sent three follow-up emails without receiving a response. On Friday, Tim texted me and promised that he would call me "first thing Monday morning." That call never came. He finally called Tuesday morning after I sent a third and final message stating that I would take alternative action if I did not hear from them by noon. During that call, I was told the general manager was off and that I would once again need to wait until "tomorrow." After two to three weeks of unanswered emails, broken promises and repeated delays, I explained that I was done with tomorrows. The general manager was not off for the entire period that I had been attempting to get these issues resolved, and there should have been someone at the dealership with the authority to help me. I then received an email stating that they were still "trying" to get my second key, but that there was nothing they could do about the other issues, including the undisclosed paint damage. They have since stated that the second key has been confirmed and that they will provide tracking information. Given the number of previous promises that were not kept, I will consider that issue resolved when the tracking shows the key is actually in the carrier's possession. I have worked with customers for more than 20 years, and I understand that problems sometimes happen. What separates a reputable business from the rest is how it responds when something goes wrong. Ignoring three emails, failing to make promised calls and repeatedly pushing everything off until "tomorrow" is not how you take care of a customer--especially after a purchase of this size. At this point, it feels as though once Crain Kia received my money and completed the sale, I stopped mattering. Their response to the remaining concerns was essentially an apology followed by a refusal to do anything about them. I will update this review if Crain Kia follows through and makes a meaningful effort to resolve the remaining issues. Until then, I cannot recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership, particularly if you are buying from out of state and will be relying on their honesty, communication and follow-through after the sale.

We couldn't get any other vehicle on any of the car lots... our other car had broke down so we were desperate for a vehicle. I have 3 kids so I couldn't go without a vehicle. I didn't care for the dodge journey, but I went ahead and got it and told them we would come trade it in for something better later. Got in the car to drive off and the heater was blowing cold. So the GM -Rob Green- said oh it needs water.. ok no big deal. Turns out the heater only blew hot on the driver side. The rear heat and air didn't work at all and the heat blew cold on the passenger side up front. The driver seat was broke so you couldn't move it up or back to your comfort. You had to drive the vehicle as the seat was. I am short so it was a challenge driving this car. The struts were bad and the window wouldn't roll up. They said they could fix all of that. My husband even asked Rob to order the parts and he'd fix it himself. He said he would but we never got any of the parts! Rob is all cool when he is selling you a vehicle but afterwards it's a hassle trying to get ahold of him. We bought this ride in September and to this day July 16th I have not received a call back from Rob. I call every week and leave a message and still no call. We didn't pay the payment when it was due and they call everyday, come to the house, and text and still couldn't get Rob to answer or call us back. It's been a complete nightmare! They came and repoed it today -July 16th- and once again I called the store and left a message for Rob early this afternoon and I still haven't gotten a call back. It's impossible to get anything fixed or talk to the GM and that's crappy customer service! I will never buy another vehicle from Car Mart because of this man here. I had to go buy a NEW ride so I could take my son to have surgery since I couldn't drive the Dodge Journey I bought from Car Mart! It's been sitting in my driveway for weeks waiting to get ahold of Rob to get it fixed. It's ridiculous and he needs to do better or get a different job!!!!

I'm very disappointed with my experience purchasing this vehicle. There were multiple issues with…read moreboth the vehicle and the way the purchase and delivery were handled. I was initially told the vehicle was a certified NEW car and was never told it was actually certified PRE-OWNED. They can call it certified pre-owned, but based on the condition and the experience I had after receiving it, I expected much more from a certified vehicle. I was told the vehicle would be delivered to me, but they left out the fact that someone would actually drive it to me. This added over 200 miles and additional wear and tear that I did not put on the vehicle. When the vehicle arrived, it did not have the proper paperwork or temporary tag. I had to wait over a week to receive the temporary tag. Because the vehicle had been driven to me, I also received it with awful shaking caused by unbalanced tires. That should have been caught before delivery, and improperly balanced tires can contribute to uneven tire wear and potentially shorten tire life. The windshield wipers needed to be completely replaced, and the cabin air filter needed to be replaced because it looked like it had taken a drive through dirt. I also never received a call asking if I needed help setting up Blue Link or making sure I was familiar with the vehicle's features. I tried reaching out about the problems I was having, including the shaking and other issues. I also brought the window tinting issue to their attention and tried to get answers about it. Instead of getting the help and follow-up I expected, I was essentially ghosted. I also contacted them about wanting to cancel the warranty I purchased and did not receive the response or follow-up I expected. I didn't expect a perfect vehicle, but I did expect a certified vehicle to be properly inspected, prepared, and delivered with the proper paperwork. I also expected the dealership to communicate with me when I brought these issues to their attention. Overall, the lack of communication before and after the sale, the undisclosed additional mileage from delivery, condition of the vehicle, and lack of follow-up have made this a very disappointing experience. I would strongly recommend anyone purchasing from this dealership thoroughly inspect the vehicle, confirm exactly what they are buying, and make sure all paperwork and temporary registration are taken care of before accepting delivery.
