Bryan Perry is not a business man; he is a liar and cheat. Whatever you do, do NOT do business with this man. We now know better and can only warn others to STAY AWAY! We called on November 23rd and left a message expressing interest in a washer and dryer. We have since learned that Bryan screens all his calls and only responds to those about a purchase. He ignores all calls referring to the so-called "warranty" he offers. But I digress... It was a disaster from the beginning. Gabe showed up 3 hours after the promised time and the washing machine had a knob missing ("We'll order you one right away and bring it over as soon as it arrives." Complete lie: over a month later and our washing machine still has pliers as a knob). The dryer was also missing a knob...Gabe took the one of our old dryer and stuck it on. Long story short...the dryer doesn't work. We've called Bryan and Gabe literally about one hundred times. There is no "warranty" because they ignore your phone calls. Gabe has sent me sexually harassing texts: (. )( .) and today Bryan attempted to send my boyfriend a computer virus. We have a complaint already filed with the Department of Justice and will be filing with our local police department next week. We will heed Kellie C's advice and also follow up with the Sonoma County DA, the Sonoma County Sheriffs Office, the State of California Consumer Protection Agency, and Lake County DA. Flag his ads on Craigslist when you see them so others do not get ripped off. By the way, the positive reviews here are a sham. They offer you a discount if you give them a positive review!! Bryan Perry told Yelp that the refund check he had previously sent to me was returned and that a replacement check was sent immediately, after reading my post here. That was a week ago, supposedly mailed within the same county. It should have come the next day--or perhaps the day after that. It has not come in a week, and I am relatively certain, will never come. Just like it didn't come the last four times he promised to drop it by, and later, promised to mail it, and then swore he did mail it! Just like he didn't come get the broken washer he sold me, which was on his schedule to pick up twice--and it still sits in my front yard almost a month later! I now have to pay someone to haul it off. Just like his original delivery guys didn't show up for four days from the time they were supposed to--costing me three + 1/2 days of work while I sat and waited for them. Just like his delivery man, Gabrielle, gave me his "personal word of honor" that he would bring me my cash back the next day because his "reputation" was at stake. I can document so many lies these two have told, it would make an excellent case study, and raises the question: is Bryan Perry a Pathological, Compulsive Liar, or a Sociopath: You decide. What is the Difference Between a Sociopath, and a Compulsive, Pathological, Habitual Liar? A sociopath is typically defined as someone who lies incessantly to get their way and does so with little concern for others. A sociopath is often goal-oriented (i.e., lying is focused - it is done to get one's way). Sociopaths have little regard or respect for the rights and feelings of others. Sociopaths are often charming and charismatic, but they use their talented social skills in manipulative and self-centered ways (see, lovefraud, for more on sociopaths). A compulsive liar is defined as someone who lies out of habit. Lying is their normal and reflexive way of responding to questions. Compulsive liars bend the truth about everything, large and small. For a compulsive liar, telling the truth is very awkward and uncomfortable while lying feels right. Compulsive lying is usually thought to develop in early childhood, due to being placed in an environment where lying was necessary. For the most part, compulsive liars are not overly manipulative and cunning (unlike sociopaths), rather they simply lie out of habit - an automatic response which is hard to break and one that takes its toll on a relationship (see, how to cope with a compulsive liar). Brian called me regarding a washer and dryer I had on Craigslist. He told me he would buy them, have his driver come the next morning at 10:00 am with cash. I waited an hour, but they were a "NO SHOW". I called and texted, but Brian did not even respond. He then read my Yelp review and sent me this message: "Hi John, Bryan P. has sent you a message on Yelp: WARNING! "You will remove this add or be contacted by Ewing Associates" You bought nothing from us. We just blew you off on buying your Appliances and there is nothing you can do about that! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!! I was in desperate need of a dryer. So we had Perry's deliver 1 via craigs list. The delivery guy Gabe dropped 1 off got paid and then wouldn't wait around to find out if it actually worked. Well within 5 min i found it didn't. I then called and Bryan said Gabe would be back that night with a new used dryer. He was a no show. Then he said he would be back the next day. Again a no show. This happened 1 more time and we couldn't wait another day . So we purchased another dryer from someone else. We called Bryan and he said he would have Gabe pick up the broken dryer and refund my money. Again a no show. This happened for 3 more days and when he finally picked it up he didnt have the refund money. So I called Bryan again , he said he would send a check out right away. He never did. I checked in a week later and he said he accidentally sent it to the wrong address (sure he did). So i waited another week and still no refund. Here am I still waiting. read more

Beware!!! He said he was going to purchase an appliance from me and would send his driver with cash. I rearranged my schedule to be home, told others the item was sold and took the ad off craigslist. After waiting hours he never showed and now he will not answer his phone after I have called several times! I have read a lot of other people's posts about this guy and his business and they all say the same thing! Don't waste your time with this guy. Update: He and his co-workers have now called me several times threatening me with a lawsuit if I don't take my Yelp review off. Sorry but everything I have said is TRUE! Unfortunately, I purchased a washer from Bryan off of Craigslist. The driver, Gabe, who is a really nice guy, promptly delivered the washer that evening. We paid $200 cash. By the second use the washer started dumping water all over the floor. I called Bryan for a replacement. He scheduled a time with me to deliver a new machine. No one showed. No one answered the phone. Finally after a few days and a few dozen calls I was able to reach Bryan again. He rescheduled delivery. No one showed again. This happened, I swear, at least 7 times. This was one of the most stressful situations, being stood up over and over again. Bryan just kept ignoring my calls and when I did reach him by blocking my number or stalking his CL posts, he would make up some excuse that often turned out to be untruthful. Sometimes someone other then Bryan would answer the business line claiming it was a residence line. At one point, after ignoring my repeated calls, I received a bunch of incoherent text messages in the middle of the night from Bryan's cell phone. He claimed it was some kids but I don't believe him. Finally I got the driver's number, Gabe. He was communicative, answered his phone and treated me with respect. Within a few days he delivered a working washer. Bottom line is, Bryan is a dishonest and disrespectful business person. I will never do business with him again. In fact if I saw him on the street I might accidentally spill my hot coffee on him. read more

AVOID THIS BUSINESS!!!! This used to be called Perrys Appliance & Barter Services and I guess they think that they can avoid bad reviews and a trail of irate customers by changing their name. This business is run by Bryan and Cherel Perry and their installer is Gabe Gwinn. They are located in Lakeport CA. Here's a cell number 707-295-2253. Our transaction with Bryan was a fiasco from beginning to end and now we are stuck with a washer we bought less than three months ago that malfunctioned and flooded our house. Numerous attempts to reach Bryan and Cherel have been useless even though I have a signed year's warranty and the washer should be replaced. I suspect that Bryan buys appliances sight unseen and then marks them up and has his installer deliver them. Forget getting a cleaned or tuned machine. Forget installation. Forget the warranty. After waiting on several occasions for Gabe to appear and then having him disappear for hours only to return with the wrong part, my husband finally went to the hardware store himself and installed it. I cleaned all the grunge out of the washer and the lint trap of the dryer. These people are SCAMMERS. Don't get involved with them. read more

This company will contact you through Craigslist "For Sale" and offer top dollar for your used appliances. They will offer to pick up the appliances the same day. Make sure you get your payment in cash up front before any hardware changes hands! Their drivers took my curb side washer and dryer, but they didn't leave the cash as they agreed to previously. After seven days of excuses of why they had to break 5 different appointments to pay the debt, I have given up. Perhaps not so much a scam as a very poor business manager. We purchased a fridge from Bryan Perry on Craigslist. It was delivered (late), by Gabe. All seemed fine and we paid $275 cash. Later we found out the fridge was running really loud and that it was not the model they told us it was. I tried conacting Bryan to no avail, finally after I threatened him with reporting him he said they would deliver another and we waited for them and no-one showed up. ZERO STAR SERVICE AND PRODUCTS. I purchased a dryer and received a much less quality one than promised. The driver promised to bring a newer dryer and after two calls to the driver and two calls to the owner, I have received no return phone call. The installation failed once the dryer was pushed into place because the hose crunched. I can not believe the poor service. I am going to flag on craigslist to save others from being ripped off and wasting their time!!!
