    I have been one of the sheep who goes to the big box store every time I need an appliance. What a…read morefool I've been and how much money have I wasted? You know the experience at the big box store. The disinterested employee basically reads the tag on the product you're asking about as if you couldn't read it yourself. Then you pay for the best product you can buy and they ask you to buy some stupid warranty by telling you how much a repair to an internal component would be. So why did I buy the product with the best reputation again? I bought a washer this weekend at Kelseyville Appliance. Mary was polite, knew her stuff and was the same person I talked to each time I called. They happened to have a great deal on a washer which I bought and which was delivered the same day. The price on the washer was lower than at the big box store and it was so nice to talk to someone who knew answers to my questions and was polite and enthusiastic. Don't be fooled by the big box stores - not only will you not save money but you might buy something you didn't need just because the disinterested staff there can't really answer any questions. I'm always going to go to Kelseyville Appliance for any appliance needs from now on - what a great place. And you're not paying extra for great service. In fact, you're saving. How can you beat that experience?

    I made a purchase a few days ago for something that wasn't going to work. I wasn't given a receipt,…read morewhich is my fault for walking away without getting it... but I assume since I used my debit card, I could use that to find it in the event. I need to return it. I used Apple tap to pay with a debit card that was compromised later that day. the bank canceled that card (what timing?!) so... when I went to return the item, I was turned away because I could not use the tap method. they could not find the purchase and told me that I should just "sell it on eBay" or Google our corporate phone number if that doesn't work. This was my absolute worst experience with Home Depot's customer service department EVER! I was (not) helped by a young woman named Lily. I don't know how a company would hire somebody with that terrible of customer service skills to be their on site manager. but once I raised enough chaos with other cashiers, I found another manager that was totally willing to help me? and they resolved my situation with store credit. (Amazing!) I was absolutely blown away that somebody would tell me to "sell it on eBay" as my only other option since they couldn't 'prove' that I actually purchased this item in the store. Somehow, my bank records were not enough. I knew exactly what register I bought it on, and we went to that register and looked up the history, found it, and resolved it very quickly!! ... albeit no thanks to Lily. Hanna, the other supervisor on duty for cashiers was AMAZING!!!!! So helpful, nice, and had empathy that totally refreshed my faith. What is up with the younger generation??! No social skill, empathy, or general pleasantness. Like you are being paid to help customers specifically... do the job don't patronize me. Thank you Hanna!!!! Hanna deserves 5 stars but I want this to be noticed! Hence giving one star above the lowest possible option

I was told by a nice salesman that they need to move back stock around so they can get it in the floor to restock and cut it! I should call back in a few hours to see if that was done. I've called back between 4-8:30 7 times I was put on hold , transferred and then was disconnected. What does it take for reasonable service? This is ridiculous for a $600+ purchase to be treated this way! I guess only game in the area you can treat customers as poorly as you want to! What a shame

    After 34 years of faithful service, our Subzero refrigerator and freezer recently needed to be…read morereplaced. I stopped by Tee Vax to look at the new Subzero models they had available. I was fortunate enough to meet Richard Landen while I was there. Richard was very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. I told Richard I needed to discuss a few of the model options with my wife, and I'd call him with a decision within a week. I phoned Richard a few days later, and told him which model Subzero we wanted to order. He couldn't have made the whole purchase any easier. Richard emailed me the receipt, and told me the new Subzero would be available for pickup in a few days. Richard was kind enough to inform me that if I selected a certified installer Subzero adds an extra year to the warranty! So I figured I had better do just that, and I went with Top Tier Appliance Installations which is owned by John Yeager. If there was ever an appropriately named business, it's John's business! John and his crew really were top tier! From keeping me apprised of their arrival time to protecting my floors removing the old SubZero, to being diligent as they carefully lugged these 800 pound machines (both the old Subzero and the new Subzero) up and down my stairs without damaging my home! The installation job they did on my new Subzero was spectacular! I would highly recommend John and his team without reservation! I'm a very particular guy, and John and his team are definitely welcome back in my home anytime. Going forward, anytime I need new appliances, I will be calling Richard at Tee Vax to buy them, and John at Top Tier Appliance Installations to install them!

Yesterday, I went to their website and found what I wanted. I called them and completed the whole transaction in less than 10 minutes, including arranging for delivery and installation. The people I've worked with at Tee Vax have been wonderful.

Today I pulled in with my truck that happened to have a utility trailer attached. I pulled in and backed carefully out of the way near the Uhaul trailers. An employee rushed over yelling at me that I needed to park outside for loading. He didn't greet me or even ask me what I need. (A few bags of manure). I said I just happened to have my trailer and he just continued yelling to park outside. Employees need to be trained better than this. I pulled outside and drove to Mendo mill to complete my purchase. Again I wasn't blocking any spaces and was already parked. Not a shining moment.

These guys start where other shops stop. Drip irrigation systems large and small, every conceivable part you might need too in the parts department, trellis and caging systems in all kinds of sizes, pretty much anything garden related is here. A knowledgeable staff in all types of gardening - hydroponic, soil, soilless, organic, wild craft, container, dry farming, these folks are well versed.
