Ordering from Vallejo Pizza tonight has put the cheesiest smiles on my family's faces! We love real mozzarella cheese, and these pizzas were packed with warm ooey gooey cheesy goodness! I was starting to think American Canyon was the pizza void capitol of the world, until we found this place! And my family sure does LOVE us some good pizza! After trying every pizza place in AC (with the exception of the chain that is notorious for being dirty and low quality) we were overjoyed to find out that this place delivers to us! The crust: fluffy, bubbly, not too thin or thick with a nice chew. However; if someone is super into uniform appearance of all pizza slices, they might not appreciate the yummy airy bubbles... It also becomes soggier in the middle, which is how I believe pizza crust should be. I'm not a fan of prepackaged cracker type pizza crusts, and so this authentic pizza crust is perfect for my family and me. The sauce: a tad on the sweeter side, not acidic or overpowering with oregano. A basic sauce which I feel is perfect for pizza. The cheese: real mozzarella, not that powdery cheese blend (is it even cheese) that all chain pizza places use, yes, even that seemingly high end one in AC where you pay $50 for a large pizza and pitcher of beer does not use 100% real mozzarella cheese. The toppings: we tried pepperoni, mushrooms, and olives. All were fresh and flavorful, not flavorless like the ones you would expect at a chain AYCE pizza place. The cheesy breadsticks: here's my major complaint. They give you a half of a pizza smothered in yummy mozzarella cheese. Next time I'll ask for 2 orders, so that I could get a full pizza size. They tasted that great! The price: I was pleasantly surprised for the quality! I ordered 2 large 2 topping pizzas, cheesy breadsticks, and a 2 liter. The guy on the phone hooked me up with a promo deal, 19.95 for 2 large 2 toppings - and after taxes and delivery I was charged 33.95. I looked up the price for the same order at the cleaner of the 2 chain pizza places in AC right before to find their price would have been double for the same order. Delivery time: 30 to 45 min.; whereas the closer AC chain place estimated over an hour. I gave this place the highest rating, because they always deliver, in more ways than one! My pizza(s) have always arrived to me hot, fresh and in an impressive 20-25 minutes from the time my order goes through. I should also mention that my order is always correct (I add and omit toppings like crazy). As far as value and quality goes, I'd say we have a winner. Never coming here again. After ordering through Yelp, my boyfriend went to pick up the food. When he walked through the unlocked door he was told they were closed. After arguing with staff whether he really ordered or not (because there was no manager on duty?) the kids agree to make it. Before starting one kid picks up the phone to call my boyfriend and tell him they cant make his order to which my boyfriend replied, "Dude im right here in your store." The kid proceeded to start slamming and throwing shit around the kitchen. I love Vallejo and try to support everything that is in it, however, I can't support this business. Well the deed is done. Someone coined a business called "Vallejo Pizza" and doesn't live up to its name. I remember feeling very hungry one night so my friend suggested that we couldn't go wrong with ordering pizza. First time ordering from here.....great pizza at a reasonable price. Delivery was fast and the pizza was fresh. There was one lil hick up.....i ordered 2 x-large pizzas and recieved two mediums, i ordered thru yelp so i dont know who was responsible for the hick up. I do know that without question the manager made it right and sent out another pizza free of charge (and at my house in 20 minutes) excellent service from the manager to the delivery guy. Better then any franchise pizza place hands down! Only reason i didnt give 5 stars, the pizza could have used more toppings.....but then again it would probably cost more, so i guess im being picky. This is how not to run a business. You place an order at 3 pm, talks to someone on the phone who takes your order but sounds unsure of it. You are told that your order will arrive in 40 minutes. You call them back at 4:20 because the food hasn't arrived yet. You are told that the delivery person could not get hold of someone to take the order (which is untrue because 2 people were waiting for them to come) so he went back and left. And then you get told that it will take a while again to get the food delivered because they have to go a different route. We opted to cancel and they don't even apologize. I haven't been to the store, so I cannot comment about other aspects of the restaurant other than the taste of their food. But...Roasted Garlic Chicken Pizza! IMO, this is one of their better pizzas and I really enjoyed it. It has a garlic white sauce as the base instead of red sauce. It's definitely unique and I like unique pizzas. Also tried the Hawaiian and the Supreme, but those weren't as special. The Hawaiian definitely could have had more pineapple of some other toppings because it was missing the typical "hawaiiian" flavor I was expecting. It's convenient that they do delivery too. I am a student nearby and getting it delivered to the library is great come finals week. I ordered on Yelp's Eat24 and they came almost right on time! I usually order pizza for delivery and the employees there are super nice! I think they have my name and address on file because one time I accidentally gave them the wrong address and they called to confirm (kinda creepy but hey, at least they're following up) Aside from their customer service, pizza here is alright. I've had better, but it's Vallejo obvs. Order the roasted garlic chicken, it's bomb. The white sauce doesn't have too much garlic compared to other pizza joints. Pizza was surprisingly good! Ordered from here because they deliver late. Food arrived in the 45-60 min time frame. The driver had trouble finding the place (my front door is around the corner from the street name in my mailing address), but he called and found it ok after that. He was friendly. We called twice and both times they told us the pizza was down the street and on its way. On the third phone call, they said the order came in as a carry out. I ordered a large 3-topping pizza with pepperoni, onions, and tomatoes over the phone at 8:25pm for pick up. The lady on the phone said it would be ready in about 15 minutes. I showed up at 8:47, which was 22 minutes later, and the lady couldn't find my pizza. Finally she told me "Sorry, I remember taking the order, but I guess the order never got put in. Would you like to order again?" So I ordered it again at 8:48pm and she said it would be ready in about 10 minutes. Finally at 9:10pm (22 minutes later) I went to the counter and asked if my pizza was ready and they pulled it off the shelf. I asked him if it had been sitting there for a while and the guy told me no we just pulled it out. As a former Domino's, this place has similar price/deals to Domino's. In my opinion, the pizza itself isn't the best, but it's affordable, there's pretty good variety (the boyfriend and I think that the garlic parmesan sauce is better than the regular red sauce), and both times I've gone in, the crew is the friendliest I've met. The first time we went in, the manager let us try a pizza he was experimenting with (BLT, it was delicious!) and sent us home with the it for free. He was super friendly. The second time, I came in and the pizza wasn't ready yet, so the manager grabbed me a soda. He made sure to remember my name and kept personally checking on the pizza. In short, although the food isn't the highest quality, it's affordability and the hospitality of the staff earns 4 stars from me! read more

Not to mention this place is affordable and the food is good. I might be done ordering from places like round table and mountain mikes. I was able to get a small cheese, cinnamon twists, and Parmesan bites for only $25. And they threw in a soda. All of the food was delicious. I ordered the Vallejo veggie pizza supreme for delivery. Although I couldn't see a picture I had of time when I ordered it with the pizza would look like with a description of what it would include I thought what the heck I'd give it a try. The smell of the pizza was absolutely intoxicating and when I opened the box I was really impressed with both the pizza and the crust.
