So here's the thing... I live in Glen Cove and feel some days like the only people who deliver are Domino's Pizza. So today I checked out some pics on Yelp of Vallejo Pizza and some really looked good. I called and they were great. Very nice and had a plan for safe delivery of food. I ordered a bbq chicken and also a pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni was great but the bbq chicken was soooooooo delicious. That sauce was a amazing. Just a great experience overall! I don't live in the area so I heavily relied on Yelp to guide me. I ordered a large thin crust pepperoni pizza for delivery. The man I spoke to was friendly. The pizza arrived within 30 minutes on a Saturday night. I opened the box and I didn't see the double pepperoni I had ordered. Turns out, the pepperoni was smothered with cheese. Now, don't get me wrong, I enjoy cheese but it was a little much. It's actually a pet peeve when pizza places put my topping underneath the cheese. My wife recommended so we ordered delivery. BBQ chicken pizza (6/10) cheesy bread (8/10) cinnamon bread (2/10) & chicken alfredo pasta (8/10) . Pasta was great. Would order again for sure & will get it with the bread bowl next time. Cheesy bread went GREAT w the pasta. Pizza was ok, wasn't great but wasn't bad. Now the cinnamon bread had potential, but sadly for us it was burnt. Other than that no complaints no issues. $45 dollars for everything including delivery & a 2liter cola which was very surprising as most pizza places that could have easily been $60. Two times in a row I have had the same driver who will not deliver to my apartment door. He insists on calling and making me come out to his car to get the pizza. I love this pizza. The crust is good. Its not too think, nor too thick (for me) and they away provide enough sauce and a lot of toppings without my having to ask for more. Its just the way they do things are Vallejo Pizza. Delivery times are frequently sooner than advertised, and ordering over the internet is really easy. My order has never been messed up. One time I had ordered a couple of cans of diet soft drink and they did not have enough for my order. Instead they brought me two of the large bottles at no added price. They just wanted to see me satisfied, and satisfied I am. *Unfortunately at the time of this writing I've had to cut down on carbs because of serious health reasons (probably having to do with my pizza intake (sigh)). But I still think of you guys fondly and wait for the time I can order my favorite pizza again. read more

I ordered a vegetarian pizza.. it wasn't horrible but it wasn't necessarily good. It was REALLY dry.. It had no red sauce (marinara sauce) on it at all... which is very disappointing because I asked for extra red sauce and got none so that made it worse. It was bread, cheese, an veggies (minus the mushrooms it was suppose to have, there was like 6 on the whole pizza). If the pizza had more red sauce and mushrooms it would have probably been better. Their pizza may be good BUT their ongoing issues with delivery makes them not an option to get your food easy, hot and within a reasonable amount of time! My food order sat under lights for nearly 25 min because they were backed with orders -- I ordered AFTER the lunch rush and then it took 42 minutes to have my order delivered after I was told the driver was leaving with my order and only my order! Someone lied to me about when my order was going to be delivered and why it was so late and bordered on hostility! To make things really ridiculous, there were no dressing for our salad or wings but the driver offered me one packet of chili flakes -- Really?!?!?!?
