I ordered a plane 2' x 3' mirror w/ rounded (pencil) edge. They said they would have to send it to another shop to perform this basic edge-work! The price was 25% higher than it should have been. I needed the piece right away so I completed order. I went to pick up the mirror and they couldn't find receipt, I suggested they email it and it wasn't until I called again that I received a receipt. We had an old bathroom window removed and replaced by Vallejo Glass Company. It took a little while for them to get it done, yet when they were finished I was pleasantly surprised. It was a modern and nice looking window with a reasonable price. The young man who installed it worked quickly and was very friendly. Yesterday Vallejo Glass installed new windows and a new sliding glass door in our house in Fairfield. I cannot believe how much it transformed our house! We had builders-grade black aluminum windows and upgraded to Milgard white windows without grids so they are beautiful large picture windows throughout the house. The quality is amazing for the price, I found them to be very affordable especially considering the final result. They brought over about five guys to do the install, all of whom I felt very comfortable having in my home. They did a wonderful job and my husband and I are thrilled. We would absolutely recommend using this company, in fact we are going back to do the second half of our house now! read more

Bought a house in Vallejo and needed two big front windows. Contacting Vallejo Glass Co was a complete waist of my time. They were prompt to come and take measurements but never gave me an estimate. I called several times an was put on hold for lengthily amounts of time. I even drove by and asked about the estimate and other than the estimator was sick for a while i had no plausible explanation. There was no apology or anybody showed will to come out with a solution. I found hard to believe that the estimator was sick with flu for a whole month ( that was the excuse). What I really believe is that the front desk people are very incompetent. Last time you will see me for sure. read more

Went to Vallejo Glass two times, first time I brought in a broken screen & frame to have a replacement made because another place couldn't t make the right type and Vallejo Glass made a perfect fit replacement. The second time I had to have a window pane cut to custom size, I dropped off my measurements, came back in an hour and it was ready to go. WOW.... reading all of the reviews would make one think that Vallejo Glass Co. is not the company to handle your glass/window replacement needs, but this is simply NOT TRUE. I recently needed my living room window replaced due to a neighbor's child who threw a 'blow pop' type sucker at the window on accident (she was aiming for the upper deck of the home and missed her target). Since I am not the owner of the home I couldn't give VGC permission to fix the window. VGC performed the necessary due-diligence in keeping contact with the owner of the property as well as myself. The tech who came out was awesome. He was able to replace the window WITHOUT A SINGLE PROBLEM. I didn't have the chance to take a picture of the window before he took it out to take back to the shop and was worried about not having pictures to prove that it had indeed been broken. So, I called the shop as soon as he left and they informed me that the tech (whom I won't name for privacy) had already taken pictures of the glass. He took multiple pictures of the window before he even took it out to take back to the shop. This action on his part was BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY, but totally needed by me because I hadn't had the opportunity to take a picture of the broken window before hand. Now I have a totally new,replaced window done by certified contractors. Vallejo Glass Company is a true asset to the city of Vallejo. Point-blank. AND NO, I AM NOT SOME GUY ON THE INSIDE TRYING TO MAKE THEM LOOK GOOD. Have a nice day. read more

Our order was not processed in a timely manner. The office and drivers were not on the same page at all, making the job late. When my broker called to see what was up with our order ( we are at a real estate firm and our buyer's were waiting to move in after the glass work was done) the manager "Helen" cursed him out including the f-bomb and said we could take our business elsewhere! The dispatcher was surly & off-putting when I was requesting an appointment for an assessment! A requirement for an assessment is you agree to $120 for the 1st hour. She said I would get a call in 10 minutes, but they called 4 hours later. Don't even bother. Call California Glass. They know how to do business, & they are nice people & reasonably priced. read more

The one positive I will say is that their price was fair. However, it took them three weeks to put a small mirror into a frame. They did not call me to tell me it was done, I finally called them. They were closed at 3:45, even though their website says 5:00. (No hours are posted on the door, either). They did not return a phone call I made after the early closing, I had to call again. the horrendous service i received here was enough for me to become a 1st time yelper. when i first came in they seemed helpful and nice enough, however after, they misplaced 1/2 of my order. did not fulfill one of my orders, could not locate the glass that i brought in to copy. never returned ANY of my calls, never apologized for their mistakes (an apology from the beginning would have at least made the whole situation better) and took almost 2 months for me to receive everything (after they estimated a 3-5 day turnaround). although after telling them they missed 1 out of the 4 orders they still did not place the missing order and i gave up on it. to make matters worse the glass that i ordered did not even fit on the shelf--and i even gave them a shelf to copy. i could go on and on... worse experience ever. i will send my projects out of vallejo. such a shame. read more

Great and Fast service! They had originally told me 3-5 business days to change out my broken bathroom window which is a double solar glass i dont know ? But they called me the next day and had it ready, they were also the best quote I found. They also have a good variety of bathroom showers doors and customized glass for all your projects. read more

Vallejo Glass did what other companies told us "can't be done". For years we had wanted to replace a 25 yr old brushed bronze/thin foggy glass shower enclosure with something newer and more contemporary, without having to replace the cultured marble walls. Thanks to Vallejo Glass, we now have a somewhat custom, frameless, thick, CLEAR glass enclosure that makes our master bathroom look like a spa! During the process, we had direct contact with the owner, front office staff and technicians; all were creative, knowledgeable, friendly and the techs did an awesome job with installation and clean-up. The price was far better than other quotes we had received (and those quotes were for finished product that didn't really meet our desires). We would definitely recommend Vallejo Glass! read more

I've been in there a couple of times to have some pieces of glass cut, and they never seem to have any body available on site to make cuts. For some reson they're always out!. I mean..... if i was the owner of that place I would make sure that ther is someone available in the shop all day to take care of costumers. Maybe they just don't need the business. read more

When I called for an estimate Brian came out a few days later and gave me a very fair price for all the windows in the house. They were ordered and after they came we scheduled a date for installation. All the workers who came out were competent, capable and considerate. They did the work as promised, cleaned up after themselves, very professional and with an eye toward detail. I have already recommended them to others in the market for windows. Brian came by a few days after the work was completed to inspect it to make sure it was up to standard. I got great windows and great service. read more

Martin & Misael install my kitchen & 1 entrance window a few weeks ago, 1-26-17 to be exact. So we have had a few BIG storms since. No leaks!! Not to mention the guys were very nice & sweet. The gentleman that did my quote was very nice as well & the ladies in the office very help for ALL question I kept coming up w/ & emailing her, always responded in a timely matter unlike the other co. I was in interaction w/(if I can even say that, they never replied to any emails w/ questions). Vallejo glass automatically gave me the quote w/ the co. that has lifetime warranty even for a broken window. Other co. I had to call & ask for that quote as well. Horrible...took a month after ordering before scheduled installation. Then after promising job would be completed in one day, its day three and I am still waiting for its completion. Turns out the wrong screen door was ordered. The windows removed were left inside my home, there were scratches under the garden window and gaps between the counter top and window sill. The patio door trim they just installed has hammer scratches that are so huge and unsightly its God-Awful!! The trim is buckled. The kitchen blind was removed for installation, but not re-hung. Turns out one of the brackets was broken during its removal!! There has been no clean up, nails and debris were left all over my home and yard. They tacked on almost an additional $500 after the windows were removed. This is horrible. I had window replacement on another house that was for twice as many windows completed in a day. This place sent 3 men the 1st day. 2 men the second day. The other company had sent out about 6 men. They cleaned up, and the work was beautiful. A friend told me what a great guy the owner was. He must of confused him with someone else. DO NOT USE VALLEJO GLASS!!! read more

Not sure why others have not had as great of an experience as I have, but I am highly impressed with all of the service i received today! I called around 10 am and needed someone out today to replace my broken kitchen window. The lady i spoke with was very friendly and said she could have someone out between 1 and 4. She quoted me at a very reasonable low rate. Paul showed up at 1! Right on time!!! I was so grateful I did not have to wait. Paul was very courteous and quick. the job looks great and the best part was....it cost a little less than what i was quoted! I'm so happy with these guys and will always use them in the future if i need to. Definite recommendation to all my friends and neighbors! read more

I went to the store on Couch St thinking I was walking in to California Glass (my Fault they moved) I droped off a window to have the glass replaced. When I returned to pick up the window the cost was over $40.00 4 x what it should have been. Two weeks later went to the new location of Cal Glass with the same size window cost $12.00. read more

I had two broken windows in my home. I called Vallejo Glass Co., and they came out and gave me an estimate for the job. I thought their price was great and quite competitive, so I decided that I would let them do the job. The installers came out and fixed one window, but left the other window, but the price they gave me the estimate for was for two windows. One of the installers was the same man who gave me the estimate. He totally denied that he gave me an estimate to fix both pieces of glass. He told me he is just an installer and to call the office, when I called the office, the person in the office was very rude and she told me that her boss is out of town. Needless to say, I must admit that I was very unhappy with their customer service. I felt tricked into doing business with them. And I believe that this behavior is quite unethical. I would never recommend anyone there because I was not pleased with their service. I feel like they scammed me and I am very angry. read more
