We had our garage cabinets installed by Valet and they turned out so good! The attic door is in a weird spot so trying to find cabinets that would accommodate that was a huge pain. We wanted to a cabinet for praying, "Pooja rack". We tried many online stores who have pictures of the cabinetry with some huge price tags. Two challenges with them: 1. Quality of the material unsure. 2. Color and type of cabinetry does not fit well with the way a house is built. We went to our usual to-go solution, "Valet custom cabinets". We went with Vimal, who had made all the designs for all the cabinets in our house. Within few conversations, Vimal was able to get a sense of what we wanted. Over few iterations, we were able to get a beautiful design of the pooja cabinet. Vimal added his own magic to make it more contemporary, but still fitting to the South Indian needs for a pooja rack. The biggest satisfaction came after the whole cabinet was installed. The whole place lit up much better than what we saw in the designs. The outcome was much better than what we originally aspired for/what the design showed. Very highly recommend Vimal for his designs and Valet custom cabinets for doing such a thorough job! My husband and I built a house and starting working with Valet Custom Cabinets early on in the project in order to get a quote. I sat down with Robert who was very professional and knowledgeable about every aspect of cabinet making. We designed end to end closets in our main bedroom, with Robert on CAD (or some other program). He was so fast at getting us a 3D image with many details. We were given samples of door front finishes to take home and we made our decisions. Then a year or more passes and their pricing didn't change, but with cost overruns on our build we went back to the drawing board to cut costs, which we did. But we didn't cut the quality, because all of their materials are great. In fact I changed my mind about the color and I'm so happy I did. We had less doors made for the fronts which helped bring down the cost. Once in production it was very fast. The installation was seamless and everyone at Valet is focused on making the client happy with the results. We couldn't be more satisfied and the closets are gorgeous. For our reach in closet, Catrina patiently went back and forth with us to brain storm and come out with the best designs ideas that fit in the room. We brainstormed the new concept of showing the "review" in the design with two color tones, which turned out so beautifully that it completely exceeded our expectations. I am a satisfied past customer of Valet custom Cabinets. We have a closet system installed in our main bedroom closet that was done in 2018. I recently noticed that one of the lower hanging rods on my husbands side looked like it was ready to fall down. Sure enough a few days later it did. It was definitely fully loaded but in looking closer I noticed that the vertical support piece on the side was sliding sideways slightly which caused the rod to come loose from the rod support cup. When I called their office everyone I spoke to was very friendly and helpful, they reassured me that the problem would be fixed. When I spoke to their operations manager he offered to have an installer come out to add an additional piece to support that section of the closet system. Now remember this installation is almost 8 years old! I offered to pay for the repair but was told there would be no charge. In my opinion this is unheard of in this day and age of rising prices, poor customer service and corporate greed. I believe this type of customer service should be recognized and commended, they have certainly earned a customer for life. From the beginning of the design process to repairs, to ordering extra parts, they have been unbelievably responsive and accommodating, and haven't nickel-and-dimed me along the way. I can't imagine having a better ongoing relationship with any company. 2. Quality. Everything they have installed has withstood the test of time. It also looks gorgeous. We brought in an architect to plan a remodel, and when I told him that our Valet murphy bed had Shinoki veneers, he was surprised and impressed. The veneer continues perfectly from one panel to the next -- we don't see imperfections anywhere. The cabinets themselves are thicker and more durable than California Closets. If you were to do a side by side comparison, you'd find the Valet units to be superior in basically every way. 3. Installation. You can see in the photo that the installers cut the trim piece at the top perfectly to match a very wavy ceiling. Same story with the walls. These guys were meticulous, and the finished result shows their effort. Oh, and that whole thing took maybe half a day for them to install.
