While filling with their jacked up prices, I had to take a leak. I grabbed 1 of the 2 obvious bathroom handles,locked...fine. I asked the B-word at the counter she took 1 look at me and said "we don't have public bathrooms" I pointed out that I'm getting gas, but to no avail...DON'T STOP HERE!!! read more

One of the cheapest gas stations in the area. This is my go-to gas station whenever I'm low on gas. It's conveniently located at this corner because the freeway is right next to it! The only downside with this gas station is that it could be packed depending on the time you go. During rush hour, you could barely find a station to pump your gas. It's also hard to pull in and pull out of the gas station just because of the traffic from the intersection. read more

Besides the Costco gas station further down on Coleman, this is one of the cheapest places that I've found for gas in the area (cheaper than the places on 1st St. that I've driven by or tried out). I usually get my gas at the Costco on Coleman, but if it's at a time where I know that the Costco on Coleman will be a shitshow, then I just stop here & fill up my car. I've actually driven down to the Costco on Coleman a couple times only to turn around & come here because it's that crazy there. Same price for cash or credit card. I've never been in the convenience store, so I can't comment on that. Located on the SE corner of Hedding & Coleman. read more

I got gas here with my CREDIT CARD for $4.11! I don't care if its not Shell or Chevron! I got to pay 4.11 with my credit card. Most places let you pay that little if you use cash! 4.11 and I get to use my credit card I'm SOLD!!! read more

I was almost past this Valero before I noticed it. What drew my attention was the price - which was $.20 cheaper per gallon than any of the stations I'd passed in San Jose, or for that matter on my drive North up the I-5 corridor. This station is clean, has cheap gas, and has a little convenience store attached. It gets my daytime seal of approval. read more

Maybe I just have bad luck but I get here and the credit card reader on my machine is taped, but not actually closed. It bounced everytime I pressed a button. Then the machine rejected my card. Then I waited 10 minutes to pay Then I tried to pump gas and every $2 it would click off like my gas tank was full. Then I gave up and had to wait another 10 minutes to get my money back. Then I had to drive down the street to actually get gas and had 0 issues. I can see why the chevron down the street does far more business. read more

I am not using my ATM card here no longer in fact at no Valero Gas Station boycotting. I went to pump 12 to use my last 22 dollars to pump 10 dollars in gas. The pump didn't pump my gas so I went inside to tell the cashier she said she cleared my transaction at the pump and said I can pay there inside. Turns out my card wasn't accepted due to insufficient funds. I immediately called my bank and they told me I have a 22 dollar hold from Valero. Now I have no money and a empty gas tank Hmmmmmmm Now I have to spend my work time to resolve the issue. This is ridiculous I called the corporate office and they worked directly with my bank to solve the issue Thank you Valero Energy Coorporation! read more

Did I go to this gas station the manager and assistant manager are extremely rude and treat this place like it's a joke and don't care about anything the assistant manager yelled at me and started swearing at me because I got a cup of ice and then on top of it this is why I'm complaining when I came in the next day she told my girlfriend that she shouldn't be with me that I'm a bad person blah blah blah be called because I got ice that's f***** up I wouldn't go to this place they're nothing but kids who are running it read more

Valero Corner Store - Assistant manager and manager a very rude yelled and swore at me because I got a cup of ice told my girlfriend that I'm a bad person - Gas Stations Near Me - San Jose, California

Best station in the area. One time the guy ran out of the store, jumped and waved at me from way across the lot offering to turn on the air compressor. He made my day because of course I didn't have 4 quarters for the machine. That sealed the deal, will always head here for fuel. read more

Conveniently located is just one advantage of this gas station. It's located just off the 880/Coleman exit...so good for those either going/coming from SJ airport or even those trekking to the nearby Target strip mall or even those needing to show up for jury duty @ the SJ Municipal Courts (just down Hedding St). The prices are very reasonable as well...especially for a gas station right off the freeway. read more

Gas station near my downtown home that is cheap, now that is a find indeed. I get my gas here all the time for convenience and cheapness. Been inside once or twice to relieve my strained bladder, restrooms are pretty clean by gas station standards. And, yeah, gas station. read more

Clean, and easy to get in and out of because there is an empty lot on one side and a park on the other. One low price here for cash or credit. Has the lowest prices of stations in a mile radius around this station at the time this is being posted: http://www.sanjosegasprices.com/Valero_Gas_Stations/San_Jose_-_Central/27198/index.aspx There's some shady characters around. Maybe if they got rid of the payphone some of these people will disappear. read more

Great location near the airport. - I always stop here when returning a rent-a-car. read more

The card readers at the pumps do not work despite what they say. This forces everyone inside to pay cash. They, then, are surly & indifferent about turning on the pump. We had to ask three times to get the pump turned on after paying. This is a problem If you're trying to gas up a rental car & catch a flight. Not recommended. This is the second time that this has happened to my husband. read more

Valero gas I has sworn to myself I would never visit again because of bad experience in Fremont. SO I gave this location a chance and I have been visiting this location for the last 2 years. Today around 1pm I visited this location and there were 2 big tow truck parked blocking the thoroughfare but note they were not at the gas pump but blocking the enterance to get to the store location. When I went to pay I asked the associate that was assisting me I asked why they were allowing the 2 large tow truck block the entrance way around the pumps - without looking she responded "what trucks?". So I pointed out the window and again without turning her head "i don't see any trucks"- hmm... I ask why she was not turning to look it was just over there - Her attitude during this whole interaction was rude and had "I don't care" attitude. I cancelled my purchase and left the items on the count and walked out. VERY rude experience and it seems as if the associated do not care. If they were customer in line or in the store - they should not be allowing people to block the entrances so other customers can not make their way to the store - it took me 5 min to navigate and leave the parking area because of the cars parked all over the place. I will NOT go back to this location nor recommend this location. read more

Nice, convenient location. Relatively clean store. Good gas prices for the area.

Debit card fraud from using one of their pumps. That is sad because their gas prices are good. Do not use credit card or debit card at the pump read more

Sucks... Dirty, packed and their pumps need upgrading. Had to go inside because their pump was off line. It's close to the 880 freeway so it's convenient but next time I'll do my best not to get gas here! read more

Good prices, sometimes some sketchy people are walking around, but that is what you expect when it is a couple blocks from the jail and courthouse. read more

Like to extend my appreciation to the attendant on duty this morning. I am taking a new medication which prompted an immediate need for a restroom. Stopped at the nearest station to use the facilities. Mens room was occupied. Seeing me standing there, clearly in need, the attendant handed me the keys to the Ladies room. Cannot express the extent of my appreciation for the attendants thoughtful attention. I will definitely frequent this station for other services from now on. Thank you... read more

Beware!! I pumped at this location using my credit card as payment at the pump and a few days later charges were appearing from Los Angeles that weren't mine! The pump scanners there are compromised. I'll never pump there again despite it's close proximity. read more

the location (intersection of coleman + hedding) is ideal + close to mi casa. just a block off the I-880 coleman exit, it's a great place to pick up a snack or pump some gas. what is NOT cool is the amount of times we've been solicited by a bum while at the pump. i don't mind buying them some food/drink, but please don't ask for cash/change because i rarely have any on me. read more

Beware the credit card scanners on the pumps are compromised. I've had four company cards come up with mysterious charges all over the LA area. The employees at the gas station don't care at all. read more

pretty well-lit, lots of cops usually in the area since the jail is just down hedding. close to the airport, and an easy stop on the way home off of coleman. getting out can be a bitch since the taylor/coleman traffic cluster tends to backup all the way down to hedding during rush hour. read more
